Khushi's first letter - wow - She has no fear to pour her heart out to Arnav, she is confident because she knows she can say whatever she wants to and he will hear her. That which she could not articulate, was left unsaid or unheard on that fateful day in the park is all spelled out for him. I hope he never deletes this letter.

Arnav's first reaction, but before that...

I am so glad he did not read her letters when she first sent them. He was not in the right frame of mind to fathom her words. He would have hit the delete button at My Dearest whereas now he is afraid to proceed.

Back to his first reactions...
When he paused after My Dearest... I too was scared for him. If he thought he understood her love for him before, he was moved even further after reading her thoughts, all the positive feelings and emotions surfaced for the remorse to come to the forefront.
The subsequent letters were lesser in impact, more reasoning, however the faith in their love was starting to dwindle for Khushi.
June 6th and 7th - she got her answer to "leave him alone" and she did just that when Arnav reached out.

Khushi moving out of her parent's home and the subsequent MSF assignment start fell almost together so it doesn't look like she got a place of her own.

Sujata - She lost the tug of war with Khushi. Khushi moved out...yeah!! 👍🏼
Her words regarding Khushi to Arnav.. "does not come here anymore..." sounded like the parting of ways was conditional - if you leave do not come back type!! Just as well Sujata should concentrate on taking care of Navin...after all she needs to be the good wife. Khushi will take care of herself.

Anita - She must have have taken pleasure in torturing Arnav. Don't blame her, he broke her Di's heart. Go girl!!

My first favorite line in this chapter..."ARNAV...(Bhai?) STOP SHOUTING! I can picture a seething Arnav!!

Boguila, CAR - Really Khushi, what the heck...I had a few expletives of my own - landlocked, man made hell, miles from the American Embassy...what were you thinking. I am all for humanitarian efforts and adventure, but safety should rule. I am with Arnav on this one. What bad timing, Arnav arrives and Khushi leaves this forsaken destination.

CAR made me think of a Marisa Tomei's movie Only Love and Angelina Jolie's Beyond Borders.

Re-established friendship with Akash leads him to Khushi...small mercies for resilient Arnav. Hang in there Arnav you have miles to go before you reach Khushi and the actual real challenges begins then.

My second favorite - Boo's Hole - Jen, Loved the way you worked in the knot hole from To Kill A Mockingbird in SF for the special shikara. 😉
Don't worry Khushi, the giver of the shikara is on his way to you. Remember, the courtship burden is on him!!

Khushi's Pablo Neruda poem to Arnav must have effectively slain him.

Jen 🤗. I hope you had wonderful vacation and enjoyed it to the fullest.

This is a beautiful but painful leaf of past couple of months from Arnav & Kushi life. Kushi's e-mails are awesome, mirror reflection of her pain, turmoil, emotions and her unwavering love for Arnav. These e-mails are just as amazing and pure as Kushi's heart.

"My Dearest" - These two simple words said everything that Arnav needs to know without reading any further. Glad that Arnav didn't delete those e-mails without reading, in rage and on his quest to punish her. What made Arnav to read Kushi's e-mails now? Without Kushi's that early morning call, did he ever plan to read those e-mails? After reading her heart pouring e-mails, I hope Arnav understood Kushi's validations and reasons for what she did and why she did.

Kushi's E-mails showed how her confidence getting cracked gradually as the days were passing without Arnav's acknowledgement to her e-mails. How shattered she is and getting ready to accept the break up in true sense if that's what Arnav really wants. Finally he knows why Kushi didn't barge into his apartment as she lost the key (dumbo..😕) .

I think Kushi moving out is a good decision for her own and family sanity. Big hug to Anita. At least she is with Kushi through thick and thin. Sujata is annoying and cocooned in her beliefs and don't want to listen to her own daughter and husbands POV and requests. It is better to give her ample time and let her come around on her own to terms with Arnav & Kushi and their relationship.

So Kushi went to Boguila for MSF work. She needs this distraction and change of place. Fate is not in favor of Arnav after what all he put Kushi through, he needs to go around not only three continents but all seven continents many more times in search of Kushi 😡😡.

"A requiem for a dream, my foot..."

Those are exactly my words too. Kushi, let Arnav go round and round and scrape his knees before you say "Yes" this time.

Are those pair of interested dark eyes watching from window belong to Akash or Anita?. Waiting for Arnav's DDLJ style of appearance to apologize and woo our Kushi.
