Vidya celebrates a decade

Mumbai: Vidya Balan treated her entourage to a grand treat in Goa, at Thalassa restaurant on Sunday night. This was to celebrate Vidya's completion of 10 years in the film industry, for which she was in Goa to receive an award.

Our source says, "Vidya received the award for Iconic Woman of the Decade' for Excellence in Empowering Women-oriented Cinema: for her role in reviving the feminine regard in Indian cinema and for brilliant portrayal of some magnificent woman characters."

"After the awards ceremony, Vidya was in the mood to celebrate and took her entire team, to the restaurant, late at night, much to the surprise of diners there, who hounded her for pictures, to which she happily obliged."

On the work front, Vidya is currently gearing up for the release of Mahesh Bhatt's Humari Ahduri Kahani'.
