CHAPTER 5
Geet looked at Maan. She was shocked, so numb that she didn't knew what to do. When she digest all the fact, she took her hand to slap him but stopped "You know what I feel disgusted to even touch you, my biggest mistake was to love you and to be touched by you; Now if you have enough shame then turn to the other side" As Maan turned to the other side, she quickly got dressed.
Maan turned but he stood there frozen, for the first time someone's word pierced his heart. He hated the fact that she feel disgusted to touch her, the fact that she hates. He was still standing there, when Geet passed by him not giving him even a last glance.
She reached in her tent, she hadn't shed a single tear till now. Her mobile rang as it was exactly 9 PM. "Hello Thierry" saying that she broke down, making Thierry worried.
"What happened Sexy?" he had never seen or heard her sobbing like this. Geet told him everything. Thierry was boiling in anger, he just wanted to kill Maan.
"Sexy, don't cry, you look awful when you cry and why are you crying for a jerk. And I'll be there as soon as I can"
Geet stopped crying and cursed herself mentally to make Thierry worried "No Thierry, your last exams are going on, I don't want your effort to go in drain" said Geet
"Sexy, my exams are not more important than you"
"I know but for my sake you will do your exams and then you can come, I want to see you on the first position. And I promise I won't cry"
"Promise?"
"Promise" confirmed Geet
"Now smile"
Geet gave a weak smile "now that's like a good girl" said Thierry
"I know I am good girl" chuckled Geet.
Thierry was happy to hear her chuckling, he felt helpless that he isn't with her.
"And Thierry don't be tensed because of me, nothing can happen to me when you are by my side. Even tough you are seven seas across but still you are with me" That made Thierry reassured, he knew Geet is sad, is hurt but she is strong and moreover he is by her side.
They discussed some more time on other topics and as they hung the phone. Geet went outside and went onto bathroom side. She quickly took a bath and came out.
In no time, they were ready to leave. Maan was sitting near window. While coming there, Geet was sitting with him, he wished, she will came and sit with hims. He saw her coming into the bus, she looked at him but then she completely ignored him which hurts him a lot, he didn't knew why. She stopped two seats before his. She bent down and said something in the guy's ear.
Geet came in, and saw Maan looking in her way but she completely ignored. She was two seats away from Maan. She stopped and bending down she said in the guys ear. "Hey Karan, can you switch your seat with me?" asked Geet
"Hmmm, yes" saying that Karan stood up and making his way to Maan, he sat down.
Maan was looking at them, he wondered 'what are they talking about?'. Then he saw Karan coming toward him and sat next to him. He kind of guessed she didn't wanted to sit next to him. His heart ached, he didn't knew why?. He wanted to talk with her, kiss her, hold in his arms. He shook his head 'what am I thinking?'
As they reached at the college, all came out from the bus and everybody left for their house. Geet sat in a taxi and left.
Maan was really hurt, Geet had never left without saying bye to him 'but I guess, it's all happening because of me', he hit himself mentally 'why are thinking so much about her'

At midday, Kashish was sitting in her office and was going through some files. She heard her office doors opening, she saw a nervous Rahul. She was surprised to see Rahul at her office at this time, he always come around 1 or 2 PM.
"Rahul, you so early? And why are you looking so nervous?" asked worried Kashish
"Kashish, please come here"
Kashish frowned but did as he said, once Kashish reached to him. Rahul sat down on his knee, took his hand out which was holding a ring and closed his eyes. "Kashish, from the time I saw you, I was attracted to you, as I got to know you, I fall in love with you. I love you Kashish, will you marry me?"
"I love you too Rahul" said Kashish coming out from the shock "and I will marry you"
Rahul opened his eyes, he was happy to listen she loves her, he stood and he took her hand and slipped the ring on it the kissed it. After that he hugged her tightly and held her by her nape, as he kissed on her lips, then showered her face with kisses.
After a while both were sitting on the couch in each others arm "When I can come with my family at yout house for asking your hand?" asked Rahul.
"Rahul; let me tell my family first, then you can come with your family, I know they won't disagree but still I don't want them to feel I hide something from them"
Nodded Rahul and kissed on her forehead "come we should leave for lunch" said Rahul.
Both left for lunch holding each other's hand. Both were happy today.

In the evening, It was graduation. Maan reached their an hour ago as he was going to meet Abhimanyu. He was feeling really low and hurt from the time he hurts Geet.
Maan entered in th canteed and saw Abhimanyu, he went to him and sat down.
"So what's the result?" asked Abhimanyu
"I lost" said Maan, he didn't why he said it.
"Yes, I knew it I am going to win this time" said a happy Abhimanyu "Now my money"
"You will get your money, after the graduation" saying that Maan stood up and left. Leaving a confused Abhimanyu.
"Maybe he is upset that he lost"
Maan walked in the corridor "why did I said that I lost?" he asked himself but received no answer, his brain was not replying him. His heart was screaming to be with Geet.
After the graduation was over, Maan gave Abhimanyu the money and left to his house. He so wanted to be with Geet.

Next week passed really quickly, Geet was really sad and not herself completely. But because of Thierry's promise she tried to be normal and forgot Maan.
Kashish tried a lot to tell her family about Rahul but every time a thing or another came in between.
Rahul had noticed Maan not being himself, he was really quite. Rahul and Kashish's relationship was going great, they spend lots of time together. He had told Maan about Kashish but he didn't told him her name, he wanted to tell him the day he will make them meet.
Maan missed so badly Geet, he was not himself. He so craved for her. He decided to take his mind off Geet, so he went to a day pub. He saw a girl coming to him and flirting with him. He didn't knew why he didn't wanted to do any flirting, he just wanted to be with Geet. He just left the pub and went to his house.
He entered in his room and and throw everything from here to there, he didn't knew why he was longing for Geet, why he wanted to be with her "why Geet? why can't I forget you".
On the other side, as Rahul heard the noise of broking something, he rushed to Maan's room and saw his room in mess. His eyes fall on Maan sitting on his knee and crying badly. Rahul was shocked to see him like this, he went to him and placed his hand on his shoulder.
Maan turned and looked toward Rahul with red puffy eyes, he hugged Rahul and sobbed in his lap like a little baby. Rahul was worried to see him like this.
"What happened Manu?" Asked Rahul and to his surprise Maan didn't react on the word Manu. He knew something really biog happened.
"Bro, why can't I forget her, why?" asked Maan. He had tried everything to forget her but he wasn't able
"Forget who?"
"Bro, there was a girl in my college and I had a bet to..." he told him everything. Rahul smiled.
"Bro, why are you smiling?"
"Because my idiot little bro has fallen in love" said Rahul
"No, bro"
"As you wish and yeah get ready, I am going to introduce you to my fiance" saying that Rahul left Maan in his thought.
"Do I really love her?" he asked himself, he was still confused. "but even If I am, is she going to forgive me?". He had really messed up his life, he realizes it for the first time.

Kashish was at home today as it was Sunday, today she was going to meet Rahul's little brother. She was excited as well as nervous.
Geet entered in the room which made Kashish to come out from her lalaland. "Muski, Di is calling you downstairs."
Kashish nodded and went downstairs. Geet heard someone's mobile beeping, she checked hers but it wasn't hers. Her eyes fall on the mobile placed on the bed, it was Kashish's. She went there and saw '1 message", she opened the message "Ok then Jaanu, I will see at 7PM, at Khyber"
'Jaanu' Geet smirked to herself 'so there is someone is Kashish's life, I gotta meet him' she said to herself and sent him a message 'Hmm actually 6:45 will be perfect'
In few seconds, she received 'Ok then at 6:45, love you'. Geet was happy for her but she wanted to make sure, the guy is right for Kashish. She deleted the sent messages and the last two message received. She went in the gallery and saw their pictures, so that she knew his face.
After that she left the room.

Maan and Rahul reached at the restaurant and sat on the table. Maan turned behind and by coincidence, his friend was sitting there "Hey yaar, how are you?" said the guy, who looked at Maan and surprised to see him as well.
"I am fine, you tell?"
Meanwhile, Geet entered in the restaurant and saw two guys sitting at a table. The one whose face was toward her was Rahul but she wasn't able to see the other guy because his back was facing her as he was talking to someone sitting on the table behind him. She smiled widely and moved toward them and sat in front of Rahul.
"Hi Rahul" said Geet
The voice caught immediately Maan's attention, he knew it was Geet, he turned and looked at her. He was happy to see her. He saw her looking at him well glaring at her, he lowered his head and then she completely ignored him. He was completely mesmerizes by her, she was wearing a beautiful black kameez upto her knee and a black trouser.
"Huh, Hi Geet" said Rahul, he knew how Geet looked as Kashish has shoved lots of Geet's pics. 'hmmm yeh mein kahan pass gaya?' thought Rahul.
In a gypsy Maan heart broken, he was so hurt to know the girl he can't forget, who is always in his mind is actually his brother's fiance.
"Meet my little brother Maan and Maan meet Geet"
"Hi Mr Khurana, nice to meet you again" said Geet coldly "anyways, without wasting anytime, I have to ask you some questions."
Rahul gulped thinking about the questions and he was also surprised to hear the word 'again'.
"How many times did you have s**?" she asked making both shocked, they were not able to believe she asked this type of question in public.
"I...huh...I am still virgin" said Rahul which made Geet laugh. Rahul looked at her with confusing look.
"You are joking right?"
"why do you think I am joking?" asked Rahul with a raised brow
"come on Rahul, your brother have quite a good reputation" said Geet with sarcasm
Maan felt really bad, he just wanted to run away from the place, he wasn't able to see the girl she love...'love I don't love her, or do I love her? man if you don't love her then why are you behaving like this, why are you feeling. Yes I love her' then he became upset 'but what it's the meaning If I realize now I love her as she hates me and moreover she and my brother are together' Maan was really broken his heart was crying 'Maybe I deserved to see the love of my life with my brother' thought Maan with moist eyes.
"I know what kind of reputation he has, but I was waiting for someone special whom I have found and I can assure you, I will only take a step further when we will get married and not before."
Geet smiled, she really liked this guy, he wasn't like Maan. "What If your brother tried to hit and your wife, will you still stay with your brother or find another house?"
Maan was shocked at her question, he didn't that he was so bad that people to think so bad about him and that to her. But wasn't it obvious, he had caused so much pain to them that they are going to think like this about him.
"I am sure, he won't do that"
"So sure about him?"
"Yes that I can guaranty"
Geet nodded "but still If he do?"
"Then I guess we will shift somewhere else"
"well done Rahul, you have passed" she looked at her wristwatch it was 6:55 "I have few minutes before I left so I guess you can pay me a drink" said Geet with a smile, she didn't paid attention to Maan even for a second.
"Hmm yeah, Sorry I Forgot" said Rahul and called the waiter.
Geet started saying "I want..."
"Vanilla Milkshake" completed Rahul to which Geet smile din response.
Maan was so feeling out of place. He felt so hurt, when his brother told the exact drink she liked.
Geet was drinking her milkshake, when the door of the restaurant opened and Kashish entered. As Kashish saw Geet she was shocked her face turn pale. She wanted to run off but to her bad luck, Geet had seen her.
"Arre Arre Kashish tu kahan chali, idher aa mein tujhe kisse se milati houn" said Geet naughtily
Now not having another option, Kashish went to them and sat down, she was really nervous. "Rahul meet Kashish my sister and Kashish meet Rahul my going to be Jeeju" said Geet
'Jeeju' Maan jerked his head up and looked at Geet who had a naughty smile playing on her lips. He was really happy that she isn't his brother's fiance.
Kashish looked at her with her mouth wide open "Ridzi, how did you know?" stammered Kashish on her words
"Well maybe someone forgot her mobile on her bed" then she continued "Anyways, I have passed Jeeju, now you guys enjoy I am leaving" she hugged Kashish, said bye to Rahul and left.
Rahul kind of guessed something was wrong between Maan and Geet. Rahul introduced Maan to Kashish.
"Bro, you both chat, I am leaving now" said Maan and left. To his luck Geet was still there.
"Geet" Maan called her.
She turned and looked at him and said in not so interested tone "Yeah"
"I am sorry for what I did and Geet I just wanted to tell you I really love you"
Geet didn't replied him just sat in the taxi and left. Maan knelt down there with tears, he didn't cared how many people are looking at him "that's what I deserved."
