Sorry for the late response. The episode had it's moments! I felt terrible for poor Aftab Khan! What an awful scenario. He was a good guy and deserved to live. So his wife DID leave him? She is clearly not dead. She must be Noorjehan Khanum. An assumed name she has taken and living in Bhopal? So is Saif the brother then? Maybe she was pregnant when she left? But the picture of Shaad and Mum on the wall is of a Teenage Shaad. That means he must be close to 30 and that Saif is at least 22? So it's possible she adopted Saif? Watch this space.
Anyways, I also agree with comments that the way they just went from dead bodies to them leaving the country? No closure of the deaths. The Shaad and Dad final scene was good, but honestly it was a bit underwhelming, coz nothing else happened. Again fake wife hugging kissing and concern drama takes over! Fact is, he has nothing to be smug about! His family got slaughtered and also SK escaped! So on ALL scroes it was a total zero! But I guess got a "pretend wife", so gotta count your blessings!
The MJ (India intelligence guy + Shaad greeting?) I felt it was too chummy. Those kind of guys are always so stoic and hands off types. Usually dont say much either! That is why they work in Intelligence. Silent types! Then the whole "I will catch SK" line and SK walks past them gingerly. It just highlighted how she is miles ahead of all these people! They are always intent on showing "Crims" as the real brains! :)
Also, the "They were martyrs to the cause" line? That honestly sounded terrible. That was his FAMILY! They were not soldiers! It's like they want him to not feel ANY guilt at his hand in their deaths. If he had been there instead of looking for "Jannat" who was taken by immigration, this could maybe have been prevented? Then to get him to say stuff like "They died for the cause?". Seriously? It made him look so cold and uncaring. I really didn't like that part at all!
Aahil and Chudail? LOL. Chudail all hyped up. Aahil has no clothes and will BUY clothes in Paris? Why not? Paris is after all the fashion capitol and Nawab is cashed up enough to afford the best! So lets just go without clothes! That was funny. But the PRECAP? OMG! Cant wait to see this very first Junoon in weeks! Finally the story is moving with the "Qubool Hai" kismat ki choice lines! They always get people to say that when there is a "Turn". Like "Muqaddar" was a tag line. (I started to hate that word I swear). Waiting for Kismat to take it's turn! Looks like it is the Kismat of ALL to end up in Bhopal. Maybe even Shaad, as he may meet his Mum finally. That may the thing that he is actually looking for that completes him. Not killing SK, or even trying to "keep" Jannat, a women who is someone else totally from who he thinks she is!
I seriously hope, they improve the writing, now that the story is tighter. The first thing is to stop Jannat from being OTT, and bring her back to who she used to be! That will be the first sign of improvement! She was one of the biggest issues of the track so far! Really hoping new month, newly improved story! Sorry for the essay Ani. But had a lot to say! :)
