She was not outstanding...but she was good enought for me to entertain. I liked her equally with all others. Everybody was trying to showcase their strengths in their ways. I appriciate all 4 for today's rocking GALA. One of the best Galas , I have ever seen(except those harsh comments by JA to Emon).

seekh le is a horrible song to begin with. Piyu tu was really good for Ankita.
Obviously, it's nothing compared to the original but the original was sang by Asha herself.

I really enjoyed her second performance and singing.

I didn't think at all she was mediocre (I enjoy her singing for what it is)

(just to clarify, I want Amit to win so I'm not some crazed Ankita fan...I just don't like that each step of hers is so criticized, even when the judges compliment her)

Yes...good enough. I like her today. I cant criticize all 4 today at all. I loved them too much. Everything was so nice today (except JA's comments to Emon).
Her first song..was not usual easy item song.It was different and she tried a lot to do justice for that song. I liked the way she laughed..it is so hard to do while singing...only trained singers can try that hard. But she definitely tried it good. She was good enough today to entertain me.

judges knew that she was pathetic in piya tu, they dont want say that so they said aaj ki naari freedom all stuff

if it is like that we can call helen as the naari of 70's who breake the cage and come

and last years II some one came from cage she was last years naari

last week i rated ankita's performance good, but this week its was a very mediocre performance in the first song - (i'm not comparing it with original, but still aditi's - II1, version is in my ears, may she had not dance or shown the face expression but that feel and that laugh was perfect)what ankita was missing as alays with her sur.

and she showed my perception was right, in one of my earlier post i said she cant do justice to piya tu and it shown the same
she was horrible in that song. she murdered that beautiful song -one thing which was good in that song was amit's rendition.

...I don't agree that the judges tried to cover up her supposedly horrible singing by adding the aaj ki naari freedom stuff
that totally undermines JA's comment...

those 2 things should be taken separately...ankita's singing aside and the fact that ankita as done well for herself and sings in her ownself aside.

FROM my point of view (from non musical background of mine)...I loved all 4 of them ...as they entertained me. THEY WERE JUST MINDBLOWING TODAY.

All the judges...JA first... should be locked in that cage!!! 😆

Are you sure? Do you know that the majority of Indian women do not live in metros and cities and are still trapped in a male dominated society...Everything said and done, we have never seen someone like Ankita on any music show in India. She has spunk and I admire her for that....even though I personally think Amit Paul is the one singer who deserves to win II#
