There are a number of clues around yet Anandi still can't or don't want to sense them.

She met Nimboli thrice post leap and each and every time there was something peculiar that could have easily puzzled her.

When Anandi first saw Nimboli during Gangaur festival Nandini had that Maang Tikka which Rajasthani married woman wear but she didn't note it.

When she found her in the forest, she could have tried better to find out that girl's details. If not there is one simple thing which almost every adult does when he/she interacts with kids of school going age i.e, question in which standard they are? and in which school they are studying? Even great grand mothers who never went to school interestingly ask these questions when they happen to meet school going children.

And this time nimboli revealed the derogatory term her maasa uses when she's angry with her. No mother uses such kind of stuff against her kids. Even if someone does it they don't use words that indirectly point themselves.

Interestingly the cute little girl Anandi met doesn't no the meaning of 'thank you'! But she found nothing unusual in it !?!?

They are only obvious to the viewers and not for Anandi.
Seeing from where Anandi is standing none of these things which are mentioned will give her a clue

First thing that Manga tikka she was too far away to see that girl's maang tikka

She met her in the forest - sitting on top of the tree all scared of ghosts like any small kid who finds herself all alone in the middle of no where and then she said her family thinks she is good for nothing and then she just wanted to be dropped off at home.
Why would a kid tell her life story to a stranger?

Now the whole thing looks like she is just running an errand for her mother and she is accompanied by her bapusa.

She was scared just like any other kid would be if she has been told not to drop something and that drops.

Don't know what clues one can get out of this

That girl looks like she is from a village and this is in Rajasthan where child marriages are still happening and how many grandmothers/ women in that area would go around asking girls which class they are in?

I think right now Nimboli is just a cute village girl she met twice. Kaam kaun karega your mom that dialogue could have trigerred some thought. But sometimes ppl don't think too much. She might have just seen it as cute enactment of a kid.
Even if she asked about which school she in and Nimboli told she doesn't go to school, what can happen? She might think her parents are backward ppl who didn't educate Nimboli. We can't expect her to immly start off her social service immly. CVs are purposely removing the marriage symbols from Nimboli whenever she meets anandi. Maybe anandi will start action only in case Bal vivah cases immly.

It is quite obvious that the girl has not gone to school .But in that area that is something common.Girls are not sent to school married or not.
The girl seemed cheerful even if at time she felt sad because her family felt that she ain't good enough is that enough for Anandi to rush in?

Child marriage obviously she will rush in because it is illegal but here the girl has just got a very strict mother.

That's all it looks like. The girl doesn't have symbols of marriage on her.

It is a different issue if the child volunteers information about her and her family but here the girl didn't even talk about family excpt that seh may be scolded. Which children any ways fear.

1st time CVs may have overlooked that borla / sindoor which was pointed out and then next time they are careful. We know how blooper prone CVs are. Nimboli doesn't even come across as a distressed child. So right now we can't expect her to do anything on this nimboli issue.

I'm not talking about grandmothers or women in that particular area of Rajasthan. I'm trying to show things in general. Anandi is an educated woman according BV. She is fond of education and its values and she herself is a teacher. Also she runs a Gurukul called Shiv Nikethan. By now she must have gained good amount of experience in dealing with social issues related to women and girl child. So shouldn't she be a step ahead? Till now in her meetings with Nimboli she behaved like an ordinary person who is totally unaware of the scenario in such places. Even a woman who is not in any kind of social service would have easily sensed at least one of the unusual things by now.

At least the name Nimboli could have triggered some thought in Anandi.

Before the 11 year leap many articles mentioned it.

'Nimboli's name, too, bears witness to this discrimination as she is named after the bitter fruit of a neem tree that is never celebrated and always ridiculed.'

Nimboli's name bears bitter fruit but many parents name children all kinds of names sometimes based on bitter experiences.
I know of one couple who named their child which had a very bad meaning. And the child was named so because he was born after many kids died they just wanted to ward off the evil spirits by giving him name with a very bad meaning.
