Emon- the best today

After watching the gala today, I have to say that I thought Emon was the best. He was the only one who showed his versatality in both songs. Kal ho na ho is a completely different song from Dil bar mere. Amit and Prashant sang both romantic songs, though Amit did a fantastic job. Ankita sang item numbers as she usually does.

Emon really is the most versatile singer in the competition and his pitching during Dil bar mere was awesome. The guy can sing Sonu to Abhijeet to Nusrat to Kailash and now Kishore Kumar. I always thought Emon is good at high pitch but never really heard him sing low notes. But after hearing him sing Kal ho na ho, I think he can make any song sound fantastic. Javed Ji said any singer can sing this song, but for me noone can come close to Sonu in singing this song. But Emon sang the song so well with such feelings. Outstanding job.

After Javed Ji's biased comments I know he will most likely be out tomorrow. But after hearing Emon today, I know that Emon will become a great playback singer and this is one decision the audience will regret in the future.

i totally agree! i thot he was the best..esp the second song..it was just mindblowing!!! 👏👏dunt understand y javed ji sed its an ez song and anyone can sing it.. 😕

I'm sorry I dont agree. Although emon was good, i think amit was the best. I just felt emon was a little to hyped today, by hussian and mini. But he did sound like Sonu Nigam alot during kal ho na ho. The second ong he as good.

I agree with you (except for sounding like Sonu but I think I should hear both versions again to judge it)

I think Hussain and Mini don't want him to go so they really went to the extremes (sweet of them but kind of ridiculous at the same time)

Amit sang two romantic songs. He sounded the same in both, though he did a fantastic job.

Emon sang two different type of songs and sounded different in both. He was more versatile. And if Emon sounded like Sonu in the first song, I think that's a job well done. Because the song cannot be sung in any other way other then the way Sonu sang the song. It is not enough to sound like Sonu in this song, you have get the emotions right and noone seems to find that missing. So according to me, he did a great job.

since amit did sing two romantic songs i don't think he could have sounded that different. but i felt he caught the feel of the song better than emon.
But emon's second song was just wow. i loved it a lot.

yes.. Amit gets the mood and the feel right in a song, thats so very important too.

Emon is a great singer too, but need to focus more at this stage I feel. Get the feel right. has potential.

I watch II this year only for Amit and Emon if they get out I will switch to Zee's SRGMP. I like their singers better this year.

Hope Janta votes for AMIT and Emon and get them to Top 3.

I think Emon did an awesome job! Definetly showed his versitality.
Although I believe Javed Ji is an intelligent man, I think he overdid the
whole Emon sounds like Sonu issue today. He was very nice to everyone
except Emon. Fine, he is entitled to his own opinion but he needs to have
a bigger heart. ITs not fair to put him on the spot at this point when
public votes are so crucial!! Also, after the second song, he pointed out
that fact that he should not over-idolize and copy Sonu. Where was all
this before Sonu Nigam came on the show? Emon didn't copy Sonu then
but suddenly when Sonu comes on the show and everyone makes a big
deal about him being Emon's idol, Udit ji and Javed ji begin to accuse him
of imitating him. Completely unfair. Still, I hope people will vote for
Emon.
