Rey and Taani are married since 1 long year. Today was their 1st marriage anniversary. All friends and family was really happy, a grand party was organized, but nothing matters to Taani, she is just living because we need to live our life as we sometimes really don't have better option than living. For Rey, he is happy because in life he had got Taani, whom he loved from college days, for her his love is pure but even he knows that Taani is not happy with the marriage, being married for one long year, they don't even share a bedrooms, their rooms are different in Singhania Mansion. Rey now sometimes question his own decision, he has started thinking whether the decision he took 1 year back was the best decision of his life or it was the worst decision? All he wanted was a happy loving life for him, for Taani, for them.
Let's see what happened one year back, and why did Rey decided to marry Taani without her will and concern.
Flashback:
Rey in Swayam's house: SwaRon married a day back. Whole family present, afternoon lunch going on, Swayam, Sharon, Rey, Swayam's dad, Sharon's mom, Rey's parents.
Swayam's Dad/ Taani's Tauji- Swayam, beta aab tumharii bhi shaddi ho gayii, Jodhpur mai tumhara cousins are even all settled, and my health is also not well, all my responsibilities are more or less over, I could have happily retired, bas Taani shaddi ke liya ha kar de.
Sw-But papa, baat kya hai? Aap aysa kiu bol rahe ho? Now she has even proved herself, she is brilliantly handling Shekhawat Industry, Jaab college mai, Taani and Rey ke beech woh misunderstanding hua tha, jab Rey ne fake break-up ka drama kiya tha, uske baad, NDC ke baad Taani Mumbai chor kar, college chor kar abroad studies ke liya chali gayii, maine kabhi socha bhi nahii tha, ki woh apna MBA etna brilliantly complete karegii, but then she passed with flying colors, then after joining company, aapne kaha ki in last 2 years 7 % profit increase hua hai Shekhawat Industries ka, she is so successful.
Swayam's Dad/ Taani's Tauji- Beta ak dad ka responsibility tab tak khatam nahi hota jab taak uski betii personal and professional dono mai settle na ho jaye. She has moved on professionally, but what about her personal life?
Sw-But dad when she has already proved herself in professional life, why is she not saying yes to marriage, kiu ki jo bhi Taani aur Rey ke beech hua tha it was 4 years ago, and now I have seen during my marriage procedure that she didn't even for once also talked with Rey, jab she has moved on then what's the problem?
Swayam's Dad/ Taani's Tauji- Aysa nahii hai beta, she still loves Rey.
Rey- But uncle agar aj bhi woh mujhse payaar karti hai then why doesn't she say? Hum logo ko college chor ke 4 saal ho gaya hai, maine socha tha ki Swayam ki shaddi mai she will talk to me, but aap sabne dekha na, ki she didn't even talk with me, in fact rituals ke alava she didn't even talk with Swayam and Sharon. I know 4 years before what I did with her, it had hurt her, it had crushed her self respect tremendously, but she didn't even accept my sorry, then how can u say uncle she still loves me.
Rey's Mom- Beta this is the problem your generation has, you all assume things according to your own belief, you all never try to think about the perceptions of others around you, 4 years before you thought that she needs to change herself, Swayam and Sharon even thought from your point of view, but did you guys think about her way of seeing life? It's just because she loves you so much, she had voicelessly proved herself, but she has not forgiven you, she may think she doesn't love you, but unconsciously, she has not yet truly moved on, she is still in the situation she was 4 years back. All she wanted to do, was to show you guys that she has more capability than you all have, you all got each other's support to stand in life, but she did it all alone, she has masked herself so brilliantly that she has hidden her emotions in some deep corner of her heart.
Rey's Dad- Rishi jii have you talked with Taani, regarding marriage, have you seen alliances for her?
Swayam's Dad/ Taani's Tauji- Ranvijay jii, maine kitne sarre alliances dekhe thae but she cancelled it all, maine Taani sae puucha bhi tha, that whether she is in love with someone? Her straight answer was, "Taujii, love and relationships are not my cup of tea, please keep me out of it". Maine Rey ka naam le ke bhi puucha , but then also she said " Taujii, mujhme bachpana tha, ki mai Rey se payaar kar baithi thi, but he can't be mine, humhara sapne alag hai, duniya alag hai, apne dekha hai na, after our break-up he is so happy in his life...aap kiu purane baato ko le ke baitha ho...aysa kuch bhi nahi hai, I don't love Rey anymore..Just that I don't want to get married I want to stay single..Actually, pata hai tauji, I am now in love, really in love with my business, and now my love, my family Shekhawat Industries se mujhe duur maat ki jiyaa...aap bhai ka shaddi karwa do..woh Sharon bhabi se kitna payar karta hai".
After this conversation, Rey stood up and went away to the terrace, soon Swayam followed him, and found him rubbing his eyes, and they were red.
Sw-Rey kiu sad ho raha hai...it all happened 4 years back, you know na that Taani, tujse to kaya, woh mujhe bhi tabhi baat kartii hai, when its required, she doesn't talk with any of us, dekha na, yesterday after our reception in Taj International, she didn't come to this House, she stayed back in Company Guest House. She not only avoids us, she even avoids this house.
R-Yeah...she has so many memories in this house, yaad hai, mai tujhe bina bataya raat ko window se ussae milne ata tha, even you know I confessed my love in this house, in her purple room, I don't know Swayam she hates me yeah she still loves me, but u know na, I still love her, with days with her absence from my life in the last 4 years my love for her has increased more and more.
Sw-But Rey..
R- Nahi Swayam, I can never move on, I loved her, I love her and will love her forever, all I want is let her forget me, if she still hate me so much, but let her move on, why don't she marry someone else, who can love her, I want to see her happy, if not me let it be someone else, but I want to see her happy, I want to see her achieving all the success she desires...Swayam I want to see her happy.
Rey's Dad- (coming from back) But u don't understand all her happiness lies in you.
Rey- Nahii Dad all her happiness lies in staying away from me, warna 3 days se shaddi ke etne sarre functions mai, she didn't even talk with me for courtesy sake, forget about talking she didn't even look at me...aur aap kaheta ho she loves me.
Tauji- Yes Rey she loves you and that's the reason she is avoiding you. And I have only one question that is, Are u ready to marry Taani?
Rey- Uncle I love her and I want her in my life but not against her will and concern.
Rey's Dad- As per present situation she will never agree, we can plan something so that she gives her approval.
Rey- That means again by faking something, again telling her a lie, again hurting her self esteem ...Truly speaking in this way No...I will not.
Taujii- Rey beta dekho, I know you love her, woh cahe kuch kahe yeah na kahe, she is angry hurt and may be much more, but the truth is she will not marry anyone else apart from you, and because she is hurt she has already decided to stay alone in life, when she was 10 my brother and his wife died, I promised them to take care of her, and as a father my last work is to get her married, nowadays my health also remains bad, your aunty has passed away, she and Swayam has lost the warmth of their relation, I don't want to blame anyone but in this situation if something happens to me, she will be left all alone. And in her this mental status, if I forcefully get her married to someone else, that person can never understand her, please as a father it is my request please marry her, take her responsibility.
Rey- Uncle for her happiness I can do anything, and I will be more than happy to take her responsibility throughout my life but I am not sure about her reaction.
After that day and that conversation the elders came to the conclusion that Taani should get married to Rey, and time passed once again her will and concern was not asked and Tauji and Rey's dad came up with a plan and faked certain incidents where Taani was shown that certain sectors of Shekhawat industries were running in loss, and to overcome those losses Mr.Ranvijay Singhania is ready to help financially only with the merger of Shekhawats and Singhanias..as SS..But his only one condition was Taani has to get married to his only son Reyansh Singhania. Rey was happy that he will get his Taani back, but he was afraid about her reaction, but then he decided even after marriage he will not force himself on her, he will not bind her in any ties, he will let her live the way she wants, and will wait till eternity if some day she forgives him for everything and love him back. On the other hand Taani gave her concern only to save the business, but her hatred towards Rey increased more, the love for him which was locked up in the corner of her heart was pushed down to more deeper depth and her heart was filled with the thought that for Rey always his own wishes matters more. 4 years back he wanted to make her independent, so he faked a breakup, crushed her heart, shattered her own self respect, and now when he wants her back, he took the advantage of the situation of the losses of business and fulfilled his wish, of marrying her. She once again started believing in their relation always his wishes matters more. She married him not out of love, neither out of hatred, but without any feelings with an emotionless heart...where she is doing things because she is asked to do so.
Present:
In this one year, after their marriage, Rey's parents went back to London, Taani took charge of SS as MD, Rey, Swayam and Sharon are busy in their Academy, she sometime goes to Jodhpur to see her tauji, she has a sweet relation with her in-laws, (Rey's parents) Before taking any major decision, she calls up her father-in law and discuss with him, but inside Singhania Mansion in Mumbai, they stay separate, she cooks for him, she arranges his clothes, his wallet, laptop charger, before major event she keeps his things ready but they hardly talks, sometimes only if certain professional urgency arises, or passing of some information. On their first night Rey cleared her that he will not force anything on her, and she can use separate bedroom, and with passage of time the faith that Rey married her to crush her ego has strengthened in her heart, for her she is living a life just as two individuals live in a rented flat under one roof. She does all those work a dutiful wife should do for her husband. But now she fails to understand whether she still loves him or is she just doing her duties. She has no expectations; actually she doesn't even know what she expects from her life ahead.
Rey loves her immensely from staying physically far away he watches her every moves her happiness when she cracks a deal, her sadness when she is unable to solve a business problem, he feels flattered when she arranges his dress and wallets, his belongings on his bed when he goes for a bath in washroom, he so wants to take her in his arms to love her, to make her happy to be the reason of her smile of her happiness, but he knows he can never get that, all he is happy because he knows being with him she will be safe throughout her life.
