Suraj is very rooted and a simple man , he is the type who lives for others ..So i doubt he will ever think about his own dreams.

but suraj has given his childhood to earn for his family... at very young age he was given huge responsibility.. & his useless fammily(apart from sandy) doesnt share his responsibility of running d family... then hw wil he think of himself..
sumtimes i think this show is opposite of all d shows...
as in other shows it is d female lead giving away her life, her happiness, her needs for d family & others just enjoying...
in this show they r doing d same only difference they doing with d male lead...

No, I don't think Suraj will ever dream for himself. The simple fact is that he never think himself as an individual but think shim as part of his family. He will not even be able to imagine himself alone and think only for himself. His only dream to take Sandy on a long drive met a fatal failure and after that he has not ventured to dream anything more. He will dream for everyone including Chotu and Bulbul and may be even for Kanha but will never ever have a separate dream for him. The day he dreams for him alone, he will no longer be Suraj whom we adore.

If there introducing a tracknfor sooraj im all for it...was waiting for so long...dabh was starting to drag and get boring. It its starting to get good again

So Like I predicted, Suraj will now see a dream because of Ved and that is when he will start developing his skills and capabilities. He will live the dream because Ved wants it. But I would be so glad if he would have dreamt it just for himself, for his own self learning and growth. But Suraj.

Whether someone experiences self learning and growth through persuing a dream or they find a dream to persue BECAUSE they want to experience self learning and growth. BOTH are good. Sadly from what we have always seen of suraj, his motives are very different and his need is very different.
He has no interest in self learning or growth. He has only one need. To feel good. Now he isn't a bad man, so he doen't feel good doing bad things. Nor is he jealous or insecure like meena so he doesn't do the types of psycopathic kaands that meena does. What he does do is...ANYTHING that will make him feel good or stop him feeling bad. No matter what the effect is on other ppl.

The reason for why the whole rathi lot from vikram to mohit to chhavi is rotton is coz suraj knows no balance. In order to feel good about himself he stopped his brothers and sisters from having any correct values or honesty or learning to take responsibility for their actions and now he is doing it to his son.

In a post immediately after teh leap I had made a comment that, vansh will be raised better then ved and look what is happening, I was right. Everything Suraj does is not coz its the right thing to do for that person, but coz of how it makes him feel. He wants to feel good and he will only to that. Doesn't matter what the effect of that is on anyone. Sometimes it helps someone...eg sandhya when her dream become his dream. If it hadn't become his dream would he have supported her? No. It wasn't sandhya's dream or even wish, or in fact ANYONE'S wish, to give up vansh but suraj did it anyway to feel better coz he couldn't watch bulbul's tears. He dumped sandhya after the hijacking, why coz what she did made him feel bad. Then he took her back, why? coz now he felt bad again.
With suraj its never about doing the right thing for anyone. Its all about what makes him feel good or to stop him feeling bad about something, nevermind the consequences for the ppl involved. That is not the mark of a good person.

His brothers adn sisters and now his son too, would be better human beings, family members, wives, husbands, sons, daughters, citizens, if suraj hadn't made sure they got away with lies, cheating, manipulations, and in fact rewarded with gifts and endless opportunities.

Suraj has fulfilled his dream everyday. He brings pleasure to ppl who eat his meethai, that makes him feel good. He bought shops for his brothers, made him feel good. Each time there was a household expense there he is want to pay it all, makes him feel good, making ved happy...makes him feel good, doesn't matter what kind of values or rather lack of them his son is getting. Same thing happened with vikram, mohit and chhavi.

To do good be generous and unselfish and help is right but it should be done with what is good for the other person in mind. This hotel owning is again not for the right reason. Shame that again cvs are showing such shallowness. He will learn nothing nor grow from it, just like he didn't with standing by sandhya so she can become an ips officer.

Instead of taking the trouble of teaching his son right values, he is going to become a big hotel owner to make his son "proud". How "proud" are vikram, mohit and chhavi of him?

Panthera, what a nice view to the whole scenario. Liked how you cited out the disadvantages in terms of Suraj's feelings. He may be too carefree to think about how he's spoiling his son. Now I think, that Vansh may become much better person than Ved.
