Moving away from his brand of goofy films, Akshay Kumar has been taking up more serious films of late. Ask him the reason and he says, "I'm not doing films to break records, but because I enjoy them. I have earned a lot of money in life. I am one of the highest taxpayers. I now want to do something that makes sense." But that doesn't mean he's done with comedy. The actor also admits that slapstick comedy remains his favourite genre.

"I'm itching to go back to a Housefull 3. I want to slip over a banana peel. I will be doing something like that in September," says the Gabbar is Back actor. Recently there was also news of a fan jumping off a plane trying to emulate Akki's stunt.

"Yes, somebody jumped off a plane. But I also do charity. Why not imitate that? The police must have hit him, so he said I was copying Akshay Kumar'. Watch films, but don't take them to heart. Films will also have negative things in it. One should follow what is good," he said.
