I am intrigued by their relationship. Kabir clearly has the upper hand right now. But I feel that this is just the tip of the iceberg. Kabir has come to KKN with some hidden agenda and I haev a feeling that it relates back to Khalid.

Also the "kabir clause" in the contract.

I agree! Kabir is not a guy who would need power to send across his message as a journalist. He surely has some hidden agenda...may be some past related to khalid and probably to Malvika's dad, the owner of the channel.

They definitely have an intriguing relationship which is mostly under wraps as of now. Kabir surely has an edge over Khalid but I think at this point, when he is still in his initial days at the channel, he needs Khalid a LOT. But he is good at masking his authoritativeness or having his own way by putting forth his points across effectively. As of Khalid, he is a snarky businessman who would do anything to mint money. So his attitude towards Kabir makes sense. The more money, the merrier.

But yes, it all can very well be related to a backstory engaging both of them. Should be interesting if they present and explore it that way.

I agree with you

Also I think this khalid will not hesitate in biting Kabir too some day if he feels the need

He is the most irritating character of the show, no offence meant to the actor
