~Betrayal, Stab in the back, Broken Trust~
The chapter here begins as Shekhar appreciates his mother for finally ending this war of 20 years, for finally thinking of his contentment, finally he states that he is happy and that this is all because of his mother. Little does he know of the game his mother is playing, a game that will wreck his heart and turn his life upside down. Hitler Dadi herself, how I wish she'd really utter these words for real, she says that it was her ego that got in the way, the fact of anger and animosity was in her way but now she's realized her mistake. How I wish these words were real. In front of Shekhar she easily manages to dupe her son into thinking she has changed. How could she do this as a mother? Does she not care of her son and his happiness? This woman is something else.
Impending now towards the kitchen, Ragini is happily doing her cooking, she is over joyed of her family coming over, her dad and mother coming together. In that moment, Hitler Dadi enters and Ragini asks her to try the rice pudding.
Instead of trying, she does something which shocked me beyond belief, as Ragini busies herself, and whilst her attention is diverted, she throws in a lizard into the pot and states that now they shall get a taste of the rice-pudding and says she will now be serving this poisonous pudding to Sharmistha and family. I mean how low can this woman go, in the name of ego and anger , and revenge, this woman has just managed to stoop very low.
Moving along the line, we see Shekhar and Sharmistha having a light hearted moment after so many years. After a very long time, they feel their happier times have come back. That everything finally has come to an end. They are beyond delighted but then Sharmistha herself still has the fear as she states something could go wrong but Shekhar reassures her saying all will be fine from now on and no one can separate them. Wish they knew what lingers around them.
Meanwhile, on the outskirts, both Swara and Laksh enter the Gordodia house, whereupon are tensed and are indulged in the conversation of telling Ragini the whole truth. Swara states that this would not be as easy, and it's not a road-way walk. It's harder than he thinks, and she states that she cannot just go up to her in a casual manner. Laksh says he knows here, that he too knows this is not an easy job but he would have to do it. As they are lost in their conversation, out of the corner, Hitler Dadi comes in, they do not notice them but continue to converse.
As they converse, Laksh says it is now or never, that he has gathered enough courage here to tell Ragini the truth that he does not love her. But he will have to do it now or it's never. He knows this will kick Ragini hard in the heart but he has to do it. But for him this would be too hard to take even despite of the courage.
Laksh here says that here he and Ragini both need Swara to be their strength, that he needs her to come along and be his supporter. Here it seems more than Ragini, Laksh is indirectly requesting Swara to stand beside him no matter what happens, that be beside him and that as usual they would tackle the situation down. As they tend to leave, they finally notice Hitler Dadi but divert the conversation saying they are heading towards the conversation.
As they leave, Hitler Dadi as she hears is taken aback of the truth. She cannot believe her ears for a bit. She says Ragini will not be able to hold on to the truth, she would not be able to handle it and her heart will shatter apart to pieces. She states that she has gone so much far for her and now she cannot let this plan of hers go down in drain. I'd add here that she really needs to open her eyes and realize that in this game plan of hers, she will just be destroying Ragini's life. Pushing Ragini towards Laksh, despite knowing the truth, for real lady? Neither Ragini nor Laksh would be happy if they got married, granted Ragini has feelings for Laksh but Laksh does not and is clearly backing out from it, could she not see that? Not only that what will happen when Ragini herself comes to know of this whole scheme? And her stubborn attitude and not being able to see the truth continues as she decides on stopping them no matter what.
Laksh and Swara meanwhile impend towards the kitchen, they see a happy Ragini cooking but stop her on the spot and tell her that they need to talk to her about something very important, and that this will hurt her. Ragini says that if so she does not wish to know. As they converse a noise is heard, of something being broken, Swara in the moment goes to check on it while they continue to converse.
Laksh finally after gathering up the courage tells Ragini that he does not love her and that they cannot be together, that if they do get married, both would not be happy and that he cannot give her false hope in regards to it. For Laksh here it seemed as if like a part of a mountain of guilt has been lifted of his shoulders. He knows he has hurt Ragini but he also knows that he would not be destroying her life. With that and with the message that even if their friendship relation may break, he had to do this. As Laksh leaves, Ragini is heart-broken and is unable to swallow the bitter truth, the truth that her lover does not really love her. It was a huge bitter pill to swallow. I'd add here that no matter the break down she had to know it, it was now or never. I know it has hurt her but she also has been saved from a relationship where there would be no happiness.
Swara in the while tries to console Ragini and tells her not to worry and that she has all the qualities to be a bride for Laksh. As they converse, enters Hitler Dadi whom with an excuse makes Swara leave. As she leaves, Hitler Dadi begins her brain washing on Ragini, stating that Laksh had come to meet her and that he was really upset of breaking this relation and assuring her that Laksh really does love her. What Laksh wanted was their family to be joined. I mean are you for real lady? Ragini ones again being pushed into false hope, I mean why? Hitler Dadi really needs to open her eyes.
All in the while Swara seems to have heard this, as the screen freezes on her face.
Precap: Sharmistha and family are in for the dinner, and are having a moment where upon the same rice pudding is being fed to Sharmistha. Swara in the kitchen meanwhile notices the pot with Lizard and gets shocked.
