U stole the words right out of my mouth! I started watching this show like a month ago or maybe a month n a half. First 60 episodes literally flew by n I barely took a week to watch all of them without skipping a single one but after the musicana break up it was just a drag fest 😕 So I quit from there, caught few imp scenes here n there till epi 160 n from then on I caught with on air episodes. There are many points which I want to share too:

@FieryHeart I agree with you. Seriously I don't know what's missing from Manan scenes nowadays. I started watching the show from the start for a 3rd time. That's how hooked I am onto Manan and KY2. I don't care about any offscreen stuff, I'm older than Parth and cannot imagine 'being in love with him' - I'm simply a fan of the show and I just adore Manan. So basically I'm saying that I'm not too biased 😆

Many people are happy about today's episode. Personally I did not like it. Recent episodes have felt flat to me. It's the same old Manan, but I'm not feeling anything. I liked the scene between Manik and Dhruv. This one felt ok. The rest was so & so.

Manik and Nandini are in the most beautiful phase of their relationship. They have overcome so many obstacles together, they know each other. As the audience, we should be able to feel the intimacy between them, the relaxed comfort level brought on by time in a couple...But I don't feel anything. The scenes feel awkward. In my earlier post, I did not blame the actors. But today's episode made me question myself. True that the background score is below par nowadays,song selection (K3G????) is dismal, editing not so good, sudden lack of height difference between the lead couple is akin to most UFO mystery stories. Seems like the creative team feels like it can rest on its laurels now that the show is holding onto its number one spot as a youth show. Why is the chemistry suddenly missing from Manan scenes? Is the new director unable to bring out the best from Parth and Niti? As much as I love Pani, I will not criticise them here for I do not want to be bashed from any set of fans.

Writer has also changed. Is that another factor? I don't have any of the answers.

Parth stayed back for the fans. I hope the creative team does not make him regret his decision. Our doll loves the fact that she gets to perform so much on this show. I hope she doesn't end up being disappointed.

I love KY2. I hope that the current phase is a small glitch in the show's story and KY2 gets back to form soon.

I hope I haven't offended anyone. Just wanted to share my feelings.

-> Nandini does not hesitate to kiss a guy she has just begun to have feelings with 😕 She has barely known him for three months and in that time she saw many shades of Manik - guy who tortured her, made her cry, made her see the good in him even though he showed a monster to the world. She started liking him n even concluded those feelings were love. And to this day she acts like kissing him is a big deal. Like seriously? U feel so shy to kiss a guy u have already kissed before? And now her feelings for Manik is much more stronger than before. So y all the fuss? 😕

-> Then she got back to him together at New Year's eve and he probably tried to get intimate with her. But she stopped him and he stepped back too. After that she tells him she should start afresh n get to know each other? Start with being friends? Hadn they already moved past that when they had kissed a long time back? 😕 Agreed she will not want to get intimate with him this soon since she is from a traditional background unlike Alya or Mukti and Manik had acknowledged it too when he stopped himself. So her keeping that condition was ridiculous.

-> Manik and Alya blatantly flirted with each other while dating and Manik is certainly not a shy guy. I agree he is respecting Nandini's feelings by keeping a distance but y on earth is he being all shy n coy n awkward? 😕 This is so unlike Manik.

-> Then again they have a misunderstanding and break up. I get it that Manik is mad at her and so was I too. This girl instead of asking him what happened had expressed her doubts on him deserting him when he needed her the most. I get Manik is angry but he had broken her heart before too and to top it off, he demands that she forgive him 😆 But he can't give the same to Nandini. Atleast a chance to explain herself. OK, dont want to do that then let her move on. But he wants her to hang around n hold onto her though he is not willing to get back to her.

-> Then the stupid condition - we perform together at a concert, we get back together. I mean seriously? 😳 U need a concert to decide if u want to be with ur girl or not? All this fuss about hope was ridiculous. Nandini had stood by him when he needed her with Dhruv fiasco n all n even he knows he is incomplete without her. But yet singing in a concert determines their fate 😳 How? Coz Manik is lead singer for Fab 5 and Nandini is not a part of it. So in future they may not be singing together much. So what difference will it make now?

I love MaNan but their story should move beyond eye locks or even trying to say ILU coz I dont think a girl like Nandini who is grounded will kiss a guy she doesn't love but yet she needs months to deduce she loves Manik 😳 I would have loved to see how their relationship balanced even other relations in their life and how they battled it out to be together. But its 190 episodes so far n we are all waiting for their confession to happen 🥱

P.S - Like I mentioned I am a MaNan fan too n I dont intend to hurt anybody's feelings but I am stating my view. Please dont get me wrong 😳

@FieryHeart I used to love the song selection on KY2 before. Almost all have become my favourites: Zehnaseeb, Meethi Boliyan, Nazar,Jeena, Jaise mera tu, ishq bulava (remember the earring scene? 😊 ), saibo. As much as I love Mar Jayian, the song simply did not suit Manan. The voices of the previous songs really suited Manik, but MJ..no way!

Never heard of the show Remix. Give me a link if you can. I was kinda expecting a new song for the Fusion Concert. The lesser said about this concert, the better. I never had any complaints with the Musicana track 😆. In fact, I never had a complaint with the show till the end of the Soha track. Many people did not like the Soha track. I just loved the Manik in those episodes. We got to witness Lover Manik, so no complaints from me 😊

This show has had many writers. On my 3rd run up to ep 91, the writer was Aarzoo and VG was still involved I think. I wish Aarzoo would come back.

I also love all the cast of this show. I think Ayaz and Veebha r awesome performers. N I'm soo excited that Harshad is back and Karan is coming.

I liked today's episode, especially the talk between Manan about the 'surprise'. Everything, barring the awful clothes, felt normal. So fingers crossed, I'm hopeful that better days are ahead 😊
