Since the past few days highly talented and good looking actor Ravi Dubey had not been responding to our WhatsApp messages , As normally Ravi is a very media savvy unlike other tv actor's, we got a bit worried and directly called him up. A little later a sweet Ravi called back asking who had buzzed? He then apologized saying some tech glitch had caused him to lose all his phone data and he was slowly now reconsolidating his comprehensive address book.
Although Ravi was quite busy today, he still agreed to a short chitchat with Telly tadka as he knows how his fans love our site. This reporter quickly started by asking what is new in his hit shows Jamai Raja? "The story is now heading to an interesting never seen before phase in the relationship between Roshni( Nia Sharma) and Siddharth. Please watch out for the big twist and turns."
We then raised a question, which has been in the minds of many in the trade about the above Zee TV show. It had started off with a bang on the ratings front( 3+), but since has not been able to reach the next level (did not reach 4+). "I gauge my reaction from social media responses, where I see great positive sentiment. People just love our show and characters. As for numbers, see sometimes hits and misses do happen, and a lot also depends on the story line and execution. But all said and done, I feel we are on an upward trajectory."
We then mention another popular buzz, which says that ever since the above comedy had gone on air (Aug 2014). Both two lead actors can't see eye to eye on many things. Things between him and Nia are so frosty they even avoid giving the costmary joint bytes to the media. When asked about this, the every friendly Ravi, said the following."People say many things, but I don't want to comment."
Well said Ravi, we don't know what or if the tension is, but the bottom line is that you and Nia are both doing a superb job. There is great on screen chemistry. We never get a feeling that something might be wrong. This shows both of you are actors par excellence.
In closing Ravi also informs us that besides Jamai Raja, he also has something in the pipeline, but he can't talk about it right now.
