i am an ardent eht fan. i loved it sooo much. i used to read your and atominis's post on the eht forum. i was not that much active on india forums at that time. but i have always wanted to appreciate your views on eht.
and you made an excellent point about parents teaching about trying.
one more thing, i wanted to say about trying and adapting. i think it almost resembles the theory of evolution. its like after trying and failing, people got adapted. and evolution happened. like the evolution of a predator. like this song

Evolution is a mystery
Full of change that no one sees
Clock makes a fool of history
Yesterday's so long ago, don't agree with what I know.
Tomorrow got no place to be.

I see the line in the sand
Time to find out who I am
Looking back to see where I stand
Evolution
Evolution

See my reflection change
Nothing ever stays the same
But you know the name's The Game
We all know what it means
Nothing's ever what it seems
Unforgiven, unforseen

I see the line in the sand
Time to find out who I am
Looking back to see where I stand
Evolution
Evolution

Agree people should be taught and not dictated but I feel elders step in only when they feel the youngsters are thinking or going the wrong way. The strictness which appears as dictating is due to the youngsters not understanding that it is for their good.

Amaya is grown up who acts immaturedly so Sneha would have been a bit more stricter to her but I feel Sneha would not thought farther like Amaya running from the house.

Chikloo acts a bit matured for his age and I was expecting him to calm down a bit or Mantu to advise him in a calmer way which did not happen in the episode. Anyway, he can be given a chance given his age but not Amaya who is a graduate and studied abroad.

i agree that kids going astray is one of the worst nightmares of a parent. No parents want that for their kids. But its also their responsibility to try and make the child understand where things are going wrong. In Chicklu's case as Cherry pointed out that he has matured too fast due to the circumstances of his situation. Love mixed with some responsibility will help him grow. You cannot use force all the time. Sometimes the slap is necessary if everything else has failed but its not the only option. Mantu himself is trying his best to take care of Chiklu but somewhere things are not working between them.
Kids mingling with wrong company is the foundation of kids going astray. That is why parents pay through their nose in every country for their kids to go to good schools. Not alluding that good schools don't have the wrong kind of kids as well but generally the rule of the thumb is that good schools provide good foundation and good company.

Thank you Sona. I am honoured not only because you liked my posts in another forum but also because you remember me .🤗
I am so glad to meet another EHT fan. It was one of its kind show but died a premature death

Instropection, I think is very important in a man's life. Without it any formal education shall remain vague.

Nice song by the way.

@ Ecri, Poor thing. A young mind into gambling. What a waste !!!
