Avantika do I really need to say it again how much I LOVE your posts! You just leave me speechless with your selection of words. Totally agree to whatever you said. It was an out and out brilliant episode with some amazingly shot scenes. Be it the first scene where the cvs try to establish a subtle emotional connect trying to interweave Ananya's emotions into the story through Nidhi...or be it KaYa's power-packed first interaction setting the stage for the clash of ideologies - Each and every scene tonight out did the previous. Rajeev is back to his original electrifying intense and natural form and Kritika is doing full justice to Ananya's steadfast endeavor.
Tonight's epi was a clear indicator there is a lot more to Kabir than just his facade of a shrewd and haughty editor in chief who is hungry for trps and power. He somewhere has lost regard for TRUE emotions - a fact twice established today, one when he rudely tells Ananya about his disinterest in her family and 2) When he says he is making news for the ladies who are glued to their tvs since 7 in the evening. It really shows he tries hard to not get affected by people's emotions. He thinks people just love drama not real emotions. He knows how to manipulate other's emotions but does not want himself to be slightly stirred by anyone's emotions. Now that's two contrasting behaviors and we shall soon know the reason behind it. In the precap too Ananya does taunt her but does not disclose why she thinks he is a changed man...she does not disclose she is Mr Kashyap's daughter that again establishes the fact that the thing has Kabir's past linked to it. Slowly the plot is becoming very interesting and Rajeev-Kritika are fully sinking into the skin of their characters. It's an absolute treat to watch two such great actors play two such strong characters!
