I don't know they show on tv all the time children getting locked up women getting locked up by husbands like in Yeh hai Mohabbattein Mihika getting locked up by Ashok. and trying to molest her saying it is his wife and he has "right".

These are illegal things to do even to your wife much less to your own kids. and these people must be shown as doing crime and getting punished.

I agree. They show these things and people consider this to be a norm in the society, thus encouraging some foolish people to treat children and women in the same way as depicted in the serials. Just because so called educated/rich people are using these punishment methods does not make them right.

There are so many people living in Karan's house - how come no one notices what's going on? Agam should hit things on the doors and walls until someone comes and rescues him.
