REMO To choreograph DEEPIKA and PRIYANKA Danceoff in BajiraoMastani

Yes, it's confirmed at last. Deepika and Priyanka will be seen dancing to a specially conceptualised song for Bajirao Mastani. This one will be choreographed by Remo D'Souza.

While reports of this dance face off have been doing the rounds for some time, we confirmed with Remo earlier today. The dance sequence, which is already being compared to the iconic jugalbandi' of Aishwarya and Madhuri in Dola re Dola (Devdas), is going to be shot on a lavish scale and will be grander than Dola Re'.

As Remo mentions, "Yes, it's true. I will be choreographing the dance featuring Deepika and Priyanka. It's a big thing for me to do it for Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Also, the song is big and it has Deepika and Priyanka in it, so that just raises the bar."

Though we heard that a larger-than-life Lavani dance number has been conceptualised already, Remo said to us, "I just got the song, so I have to still conceptualise it. I have not started anything yet."

But if we were to believe a few sources, then the song will feature a Lavani performance and for that both the actresses have already started to rehearse. They will try to out do each other in the song.

Sounds like this will be another promising, if dramatic, addition to the impressive epic scale of Bajirao Mastani'.
