Which actress rose to the top quickly, then rapidly declined?

😉 😭 Fame is temporary. People only remember you for the last hit you gave. When I look at some of the actresses who went to the top and then rapidly declined, it is sad how their contribution is forgotten. Didn't they make a place in your hearts? Was it wrong movie choices? Not everyone can plan their career. Please share your thoughts. ⭐️

Parineeti Chopra is the only one that comes to mind right now.

Preity is out now but I don't think she really had a quick rise/rapid decline kind of situation. She had a solid career for a good ten years didn't she? And the reason she stopped acting was for IPL and not lack of offers like Parineeti now.

I really can't think of anyone else though I'm sure there are plenty. Diana Penty? Asin? From last generation I think Alia's sister Pooja had a similar fate.

Vidya...but have to say the kind of impact she had on the BO is rarely seen with actress now...three back to back women oriented hit movies...

I didn't take top to mean number 1 actress. I took it to mean having success and being in a very good position. Almost being secure of a long lasting career. 2012, 2013 and even start of 2104 definitely was that for Parineeti.

Yes I agree with those who said Ameesha Patel and Gracey Singh.

I don't think Vidya has necessarily had a decline. Vidya has a very promising HAK coming up. And in terms of talent she has always been ahead of Pari. She's actually ahead of a lot of her contemporaries.
