Part 13

" You can't name your forcing as love, Arnav!" thundered Khushi, though she knew she was always wrong when it came to her love with Arnav.

" I have the right to force you. If not as your husband, then as a person you once loved, the person you are loving with every breath you take and the person you will love till the last breath!" said Arnav, drawing her even more close.

" Just stop it, Chotte and Khushiji!" said Anjali unable to bear the pain, intensity which was there in their love and their words today.

Arnav immediately straightened himself up and loosened his grip on Khushi, while Khushi took this as an opportunity to escape from Arnav.

" Khushi Bitiya, answer this question in a yes or a no! Are you in love with Chotte? Please don't lie, if not for us then for the love which is there in chotte for you!" said Naniji, in a voice which gave up strength.

Khushi was scared to answer this question. Answering in negative would make Arnav more angry and she could never lie to the Raizadas.

Answering in positive will compel her to accept Arnav as her husband.

Which would mean Lavanya would comeback for a revenge and she can even hurt Arnav in that course, which she never wanted.

" Shall we take your silence as a 'Yes', Khushiji?" asked Anjali, weakly.

" No, Di. It's not an yes and is neither a no. What I have for Arnav is not love but is neither a hatred." said Khushi, while staring at Arnav who was hurt at her reply.

If what she had was neither hate nor love, then he meant nothing to her?

Was he equal to a stranger to her?

" Then you should let her go back, Chotte. Love can never be gained by force." said Nani, wisely but it had gone to a pair of ears in which his beloved's words were echoing and nothing else could interrupt it.

" Khushiji, you go in and pack your bags, we will convince Chotte!" said Anjali, with a weak smile.

She knew the depth of Arnav's love and depth of Khushi's feelings. But she also knew that if arnav wanted Khushi by his side then he would have to make some extra efforts towards than just forcing her to stay with him.

She understood the fears of Khushi and it clearly hinted that she cared a bit too much for her Chotte.

Khushi almost walked towards the stairs as a living corpse as the very soul of her body, her Arnav was going to be distanced from her.

" Are you okay, Chotte?" inquired Anjali, which made Khushi stop on the stairs as she too wanted the answer to that question from Arnav.

Arnav whose eyes were tracing the path taken by Khushi had also stopped with her, but his lips moved to form,

"Maybe, Maybe not."

Anjali had tears forming in her eyes listening to her brother's words. But Arnav didn't want to stop there because there was something which he wanted Khushi to hear him saying.

" Di, few people never understand the depth of true love! And few people don't wish to accept it even after knowing the depth" said Arnav, looking at Khushi intently.

Khushi knew that Arnav said this sentence for her. What he said was true, she knew the depth of his love but she refused to accept it.

And the reason?

She herself didn't know.

Maybe it was for Lavanya, who gave her everything since her childhood and remained as her support.

Maybe it was for the obsession in Lavanya, which can take her to any extent.

Maybe it was something which she can never understand.

Or maybe it was something she never wanted to understand.

--------

Arnav-Khushi's Room,

Khushi felt memories flooding in her as she saw each nook and corner of the room in which she and Arnav stayed.

She took a last glance of the room before she prepared herself to go from there with a heavy heart, and eyes brimming with tears.

She came out with a confident mask of Khushi Gupta to show to the Raizada Family, who would never let her go if they knew she is crying.

Arnav was not there anymore.

Did he start hating her so much that he can't even see her?

" Khushi Bitiya, how are you going back?" asked Naniji, as it suddenly struck her.

" I will go by a taxi, Naniji. Don't worry for me." said Khushi, with a weak smile formed due to the love from the elderly lady.

" Mohan will drop you, Bitiya. You will not take a taxi, because that would surely get us worried." said Naniji, affectionately.

How could she be so affectionate to me after the things I said to her grandson, her Chotte?

Maybe this is what people call, blind love.

" Naniji, Di..I will take you leave now!" said Khushi without any expression portraying her emotions buried under the mask she put on.

Naniji and Di nodded, while Khushi bent to take the blessings of Nani, who hugged her before she could actually touch her feet.

" Always be happy, Bitiya. Make you get what you want." blessed Nani.

Khushi went and hugged Anjali a good bye.

She couldn't even turn behind to face them after the warmth she felt in their embraces.

But now she has even her parents to face.

--------

Gupta Mansion,

" Ramu Kaka, where is everyone?" asked Khushi, finding no one in the house except one loyal servant of theirs.

" Everyone has gone to Delhi for a wedding, Bitiya. How are you now?" asked Ramu Kaka, affectionately.

Which is everyone making me feel more guilty by being so affectionate to me?

" I am fine, Kaka." said Khushi with a smile.

" Do you need something, Bitiya?" asked Ramu.

" No,Kaka. If I need something then I will surely ask you." said Khushi, with a smile.

What she wanted the most, she couldn't get as rejected it herself. Will she ever accept the love she has for Arnav?

I so want to slap Khushi upside the head. What is wrong with her? sigh. I think Arnav needs to just leave her alone for a while. Outside of that, loved the way the family supported Arnav.

Looking for the next update.
