Humsafars | Office Scene | Technical Tuesday - Harshad Chopda, Shivya Pathania, Ramandeep Kaur Dillon
Humsafars was a show about journey of a girl Aarzoo Nausheen Khan (Shivya Pathania) and a young man who lands in her life (Saahir Azim Choudhary). In our Technical Tuesday segment we bring how junior artist form part of an office scene in the show.
Any scene that has movement of people around is chaotic and one needs people who do the "passing" in the scene. Well, we are sure you all wonder who these people are. Well, these are part of the scene people who rarely speak but are around on the set (well, they are specially called upon). They are necessary part of the "props". One always wonders if they are even important in the scene? Well, their importance is as much as a property is because they set the tone and mood.
Also, how barren would it look to have empty spaces with no one around at any point in time. And don't forget, we always see key people in a scene when there ought not to be. Case in point, villains lurking around the curtains when hero and heroine are engaged in a clinch (get it?). Okay, so we are in a frivolous mood today.
Well, with a scene like this, it becomes chaotic when movement of the camera is managed with the moving "props".
We do not mean any disrespect to the people who form part of the scene even if mute or sometimes to express shock, humour, chaos and drama.
And we must emphasise here that it is not easy job to "wait" around all day and keep passing from one part of the set to the other.
Well, watch the very first scene at office and how it was shot in Humsafars if nothing for the sake of reminiscence.
