Starts off with Rishab saying Cynthia's husband is here, and yes, in fact he has brought Cynthia a fake husband. Cynthia is shocked and on the verge of tears and Kakul doesn't understand what is going on. Bunty is about to run to Papa, when this new guys , Mr. Desouza grabs and pretends to be his father. He makes a deal with Bunty that they will no call Rishab papa. Bunty says that he has to go to the bathroom, and Cynthia takes her to Kakul room, where she begins to cry. Kakul asks her what is going on, and Cynthia says that she herself doesn't understand what is happening with her. Bunty sees his mother cry and tells her that she will tell papa, and she makes him promise that he won't tell Rishab.
The engagement ceremony between Devika and Shekhar takes place. It seems like Dr.Desouza is actually a preist, and begans to debate with the pundit about hurrying things along, and then does the ceremony in his own way. Everyone thinks its funny that a Doctor also acts like a priest, and Cynthia seems embarrass because the guy won't shut up. The rings are exchanges, at first Shekars would not fit in his hand, but after a prayer from Dr. Desouza is slipped on. After the engagement ceremony, everyone is sitting. Trisha is sitting to the side when Shekars mom comes and asks why Om Shankar did not come, and Uttra come from behind and lies that he was not feeling well. Shekar's mom then asks that why didn't Sujeet come, Trisha can not think of a response, and Uttra chimes in yah where is he, he should be here. Trisha calls up Sujeet and he tells her what she is still doing there. He says that you want to embarrass yourself more, and she thinks to herself who could have told him. She tells him to come there as everyone is asking for him, her refuses, and says that if he comes there he will let the truth spill out.
Shekar's sister, Arti is sitting and talking to Rishab about him getting married, and this is all seen by Cynthia. She says now he can marry since he doesn't have to worry about Devika anymore. Bunty and Dr. Desouza come running in, and Bunty spills something on Arti. Cynthia grabs Bunty and slap him. Rishab yells at Cynthia as to why she slaped the kid. Everyone is shocked as to how Dr. Rishab could yell at Cynthia right in front of her husband. He covers his tracks and says that he is just a child, and it wasn't his fault. Kakul takes Bunty to get cleaned up. Trisha worries and tells Kakul that she thinks Sujeet may know what went on here, and that everyone is asking for him and she doesn't know what to do, she's run out of lies. She says that she doesn't understand why Shekar's family is so interesting in their family. She says that she will go a brings Sujeet, and hope for the best.
Samman is sitting and thinking and his dad see him. He says what is worrying you so much is it Kakul? He says how did he find Kakul when Sujeet had told them she had gone back home. Samman says I will tell you everything once this is all over. Amarnath says that they should talk right now, and they will go to a more private place. Tulika comes and says that Kakul has an announcement to make. She first thanks everyone for the love they have given her, and then she asks Dadi's permission to give the bracelets that she had given to someone who has helped this family in it's hard time. Dadi says that these bracelets where intended for the bahu of the family, and that she knows Kakul's intention are good, that she should give it to whom she likes. Kakul is walking towards Arti and Cynthia's direction. Arti and her mom think that Kakul is about to give the bracelets to arti, but Kakul just walks by and puts them on Cynthia. Everyone is shocked, and Cynthia is crying. Freeze.
