Shefali pretended to be nice as she wanted to be the one to give birth to arjun and bhoomi's baby through IVF. Shefali got inseminated and caused problems and misunderstandings between argun and bhoomi. Ultimately, bhoomi was kidnapped and was told by shefali that the baby wasb;t ivf but was the product of argun and shefali's love and that they've been physically together for ages. She is shown photographs of them two together but were digitally altered. Bhoomi 'dies' in an accident with another woman, Devika Parekh who was a widow with a young son with cancer.
Plastic surgery is done on the woman who survives and it is revealed that Bhoomi is alive and that the other woman died. Bhoomi now has the face of Devika Parekh. Devika's family believe her to be their daughter abd she decides to live as devika as she doesn't have any family anymore, i.e betrayed by her husband etc.
Devika's friend discovers that she is bhoomi and not deika and helps her with the information about devika's daily routine and likes and dislikes and mannerisms etc.
She becomes a businesswoman (devika was a business woman and managed the family business)
She discovers that the goenka family want to business with them and she decides to do it and to gain revenge from argun for betraying her. She wants to destroy him.
During these business dealings, argun feels bhoomi near him and feels an attraction to devika but is fighting it. She enters the goenka house. Baisa discovers that she is their boomi as there are too many similarities between d and b for them not to be 1 person. Devika then finds out that a still loves b and never betrayed her. She devides to bring the real face of s in front of a. She first brings to his attention that s is not a good mother and she doesn't know where any of the baby's things are etc.
She then becomes s friend and s becomes to trust b, which is what s did to b.
s and a's marriage gets fixed after gunvanti says things that rumours are flying about a and s as she lives in this house but she doesn't have any relation with anyone anymore with the family (she divorced yuv) S acts suicidal etc to get a to agree and he does.
A mother discovers the real identity of d and is happy. she now also helps as well as gannu kaka.
a is having doubts about d's identity as he feels that she is bhoomi but doesn't havve any proof. (she said she knows alot about a becuase before b died, she was with her and she talked about a alot)
On the wedding day, shefali gets suspicious of d and gets her kidnapped, bhaisa gets worried and a asks her about d identity and tells her that is what his heart is telling him true or not?
A reanactment is played to arjun in the place where she died and starts thinking.
A is distraught and castigating himself in not recogniseing his bavri. D rings him via a broken mobile and she is breathless and a knows its her. He races out of the house and gets to the plavce where she is with the help of a policeman. She is saved. A goes back and sits in the mandap. he reassures bhaisa that all is well. S comes to sit too. The actors come in and announce that they are going to enact a play for them. They reaenact the event of attempting to kill b and s shouts to stop this etc. b comes in and shouts that she is bhoomi and not devika and then during all this shouting, s admits to all and tries to throw the baby into the fire in the mandap. She gets arrested and b and a get wed again. They are all happy.
Couple of days later, arjun, bhoomi and the baby are going to mandir when arjun is given a drink and they get back in the car and they discover that the brakes have failed. a urges b to jump out with the baby and he pushes. a dies in the following crash. b is now a widow.
reports that are done on a body is found that a had taken drugs just before he died. B decides to find his murderer and bhaisa helps him as well as her mom-in-law.
B discovers that yuv was the one who had hired some men to put drugs in a drink and to kill him, He also triwed to kill him with poison before too but was unsuccessfull.
Now b is trying to get y convicted of murder and to send hinm to jail. Natasha, yuv's lawyer and would-be wife declares that b is in fact d. She has to now prove her identity. She took dna tests and was proven to be b but before she can get to the court m stops her and says that the parekhs are in his custody and if she doesn't say that she is d then he will kill them.
She does say she is d but then says that m told her to say it or else he'll hurt her sadopted family.
A court observer is appointed to observe the family and to distinguish whether she is who she says she is.
Shyam is that observer and very quickly realises that she is bhoomi and declares that he will help her to prove her innocence.
That's what's happening in the UK at the mo. B is trying to drive a wedge between yuv and mansen and they are succedding.
