Politically Correct - It has more often than not become another word for glib talk! Say what the others want to hear, not what you want to say!

Most persons who do not comprehend the full meaning of being POLITICALLY CORRECT often believe that.... But as I see it, Politically Correct would mean stating YOUR views on the subject, keeping in mind the volatile nature of discussion, and phrasing it in a manner which is easily palatable, yet making your point across without shying away from it!

We don't need to be politically correct all the time.
It all depends on the situation. Share your opinions without attacking or hurting others.
Some people end up hurting others a lot by being simply "blunt". It's all about the way you phrase yourself. I say share your opinion without being rude/mean.

Yup..@ diplomacy.😊. There is more then one way to say the same thing and sugar coating is definitely one of them..!!! However most people realize the crux of it even when said sweetly or otherwise. To me being PC is saying something which one does not believe in but have to say it nevertheless to appear fair/educated/open minded etc.
