Seeing a very strong character falling down is always difficult to understand. People don't how to react. That being the impossible for them, they don't find that natural. To give their confusion a meaning, they revisit the past to see if they can find the flaws and all the perfections of that characters. Then all the past actions and words are judged, and their strength doubted.
When characters who are treated with fragility take bold steps, their actions are questioned. The same characters who stood out for their goodness, their sensibility are called out for their irrationality.
The fact is that what they were in past, they could not be in the present. What they said in the moments of peace, aren't what they believe in the moments of devastation. They evolve, grow, experience the life, get affected by all in the positive way or negative. They may be good and right but at the end of the day, they fail too.
The truth comes out only when the earth isn't under their feet and sky is about to give in. Then everything depends the situation...An independent one would find solace in dependence in the same way a dependent one could stand up, act all alone. Someone who would have acted impulsively could take a wise step in the same way a wise one could let their feelings overwhelm them.
Nandini and Dhruv...Their fall is the most difficult to understand and believe. Because they were always perceive as perfections.
They are the characters who are, were the brand ambassadors of the goodness and kindness. Loved by all for their innocence and generous heart. Their naivety was believed to be one of their best feature. Every person around them was proud and happy with them...
Manik has and still does worshiped them, with all of him for their goodness and positivity. For him, Dhruv symbolizes pure goodness and Nandini symbolizes righteous. He admires them, thinks of them as creatures who are almost perfect...
While thanks to Soha's track he came to know about Nandini's flaws, he didn't know Dhruv's. He saw and understood Nandini vulnerability and naivety, that is the reason why now he doesn't expect her to see Pandit's real face on her own. That is why he is so focused on reveal Pandit and not snapping at her for not seeing his real face. He understands her struggle, her fights and her worries...
In the same way, after this track, he will see Dhruv's flaws, his dark side...
The fact is that Nandini and Dhruv are in the process of changing, evolving, transforming...They will fall and break down, just to emerge more stronger and more real...
Dhruv is showing his flaws, his imperfections, his dark side, his irrationality and his extremism. He is blinded by his misplaced rage and insecurities. We all have already said so much about his actions, so I won't elaborate.
Nandini:- She is the hard one to understand. Because many can't predict her actions and thoughts. She is blinded by her morals, naivety and her ability to perceive positivity in everything. She has hide all of her behind her smiles, her hope, her positive thinking, being the ray and the sun of Manik's life. She has been doing that for so long that everyone, even she is convinced about her ability to tolerate everything. This track will show us her fragility, her flaws, her falls, her doubts and her dark side.
When a strong character is shown in their weak moments, they are hard to believe. I understood the struggle of people in doing that only now. I have seen my father as the strong one, only after seeing his glassy eyes, weakness in his actions and change in his voice, I come to realize that he is actually ill. But while common illness as flu can be understood, what is happening with and to Nandini's can't. Because that is invisible. I, myself couldn't see it till Manik has pointed out again and again, till I understood that it isn't his jealousy talking. Because let's be honest, the guy won't tolerate even a shadow near his Nandini.
But what we have to understand is the reason why Manik has able to see Pandit for who he is, only because he has an eye for power plays and manipulations. Thanks to Nyonika, he has learnt to see people's actions and not words. He trusts his instincts because he is so used to these games, abuses and manipulations that he can pin point that something is off even in sleep. While Nandini has never experienced any of it till now. She takes people on face values. She has learnt a thing or two about manipulations only after coming close to almost losing most important person of her life, Manik...
To any normal mortal being, understanding what is happening with her, to her is impossible. That creepy Pandit knows his game, and he plays to perfection. He is the master of this game. He is so damn good that even his past victims haven't realized what he has done to and with them. The messages Manik received are prove of that. Pandit is still thought and seens as a perfect mentor who changed their life, for good. So for me he wins the prize of the most sharp brain creep of the century.
So expecting Nandini to see his games and manipulation is something that we can't do. The fact that she realizes something is off about him is enough, at least for me. She does subconsciously know that something isn't right. And the more Pandit is getting bold in his gestures, the more she is getting wary. Staying strong is in her nature, running away isn't. Escaping the reality through her everything-will-be-fine belief is in her nature, letting anyone else know about what is happening to/with her isn't. Her sense of judgement has been shaken so bad, so many times that she doesn't believe in it. So she leaning on Manik to guide her to light. She is grabbing his hand in the moment of darkness because she believes in him to lead her to him, their "us".
Manik...First time ever I have nothing to say about him because he is in his element. His actions are understood by all. He is doing what he is supposed to...He is being the protector, guarding what he holds dear to his heart and soul. The leader, leading the game from their side, using the right cards. The planner, ready with all his strategies and moves. He isn't out of his territory. He knows these games, he knows the enemy, or better enemies. Knows he has to be cautious...
He is the master of this games. He has inherited the ability to play these games from his mother, master them thanks to his mother. He know manipulation, power games, mind games...Using the right cards on the right time. I am awe at him for thinking of using Nyonika to ensure his taking part in the concert. And also keeping her busy in wondering about what is in his mind. Man, smart move.
Whether that move will work or not, that we have yet to see. But one thing is clear, he is using all his power and abilities to win this war...
In near future he may be overwhelmed by attacks from all three sides, cornered by their moves, taking blows from unexpected direction...But he won't give up, he can't...
This is one of the most important wars of his life because of what and who is at stake...His soul and his heart...His star and his love...
But be it Nandini, Manik or Dhruv, they are behaving as they are supposed to be...Nandini is the victim of an invisible crime by the perfect creep...Manik is the fighter, has to fight for his love and loves ones...Dhruv has to win over his dark side, and find balance...
