Sibling rivalry which family does not have it? Every child must have felt less loved compared to other sibling or less cared for or less appreciated in life one or the other time
Siblings always try to show that they have different from the others be it in talent, ability, studies etc
Each child wants attention of its parent, appreciation and time from them individually
Now take the Mughal family (lets forget girls for now)
Salim- eldest, always got more priority and responsibility, the unofficial walihaad aka shahi shah from birth
Murad - got less priority and responsibility
Daniyal- youngest not yet gone to war or has any responsibility, the elder two handle everything whether war or work
Suddenly the case has reversed and Murad has been declared Shah I shah
Salim - No longer walihaad and shah I shah and officially that too
Salim feels less loved than murad and daniyal by parents
Salim feels over responsibility at young age and separated by parents
Why? Because he is born to an hindu mother and shah e iran questioned his validity as Akbar's son

So stage is set for a big sibling rivalry
Murad shall be fueled by haider, haiders uncle, daniyal too may be(like he was saying you are shah I shah do your work)
Salim shall have friends like qutub etc too fuel him(some new ones)
Akbar shall regret playing with emotions of both his sons in long run because of shah of iran letter
I see long term effects of this musical chair bet salim and murad for shah I shah chair that Akbar started
instead he could have postponed this to future till solution found

salim and murad also not upset
We all know what happened with Aurangzeb and dara - Aurangzeb felt less loved by father, more responsibility to go to war field and dara always staying with shah jahan how he took revenge in most brutal way on his innocent elder brother(so many times dara saved Aurangzeb from shah jahan warth)
