Actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol attended a special screening of Ikkis in Mumbai on Sunday, December 28. The film, which stars the late Dharmendra, marks the final screen appearance of the legendary actor. The screening was an emotional moment for the Deol family, especially Bobby, who was visibly moved throughout the event.
Videos and photos from the red carpet have been widely shared on social media. In one clip, Bobby can be seen waving and briefly smiling at the cameras. However, as the screening ended, he became emotional while interacting with the paparazzi and began crying inside his car. Sitting alongside his wife Tanya Deol and son Aryaman, Bobby wiped away his tears, appearing overwhelmed by the moment.

While fans speculated the shift was to avoid a clash with Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri or Dhurandhar, Amitabh Bachchan clarified that the decision was made for astrological reasons.
The film features Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, in the lead role, alongside Simar Bhatia, Akshay Kumar’s niece, and Jaideep Ahlawat in a significant role.
Dharmendra, who passed away unexpectedly at his Mumbai residence on November 24 at the age of 89, is remembered as a towering figure in Hindi cinema. His funeral was held under tight security at the Pawan Hans crematorium, conducted privately.
He is survived by his first wife, Prakash Kaur, and his second wife, Hema Malini, as well as six children: daughters Vijeta and Ajeita from his first marriage, and Sunny, Bobby, Esha, and Ahana from his second marriage.
The screening of Ikkis offered the Deol family and fans a final opportunity to see Dharmendra on screen. Bobby’s emotional reaction reflected the deep personal and professional bond he shared with his father. For the audience, the film serves as a tribute to Dharmendra’s enduring legacy in Indian cinema.
