Apart from this one point, I think DMG is different from other medical shows. But most of the medical shows always feature doctors in two categories: the first is compassionate, human and the second is cold, clinical and ambitious. Because we have doctors like this in real life, we tend to look for something better in the shows as it fills a void. That is why we would rather have people like Rids or Atul caring for us as opposed to those who don't feel for their patients.

Yes..Agreed. Doctors in shows have docs that take of their parents as family members and Ridz & Atul are the perfect examples.

Agreee trinz, but other thing is we had a limited show on this theme, Dhadkan, Sanjeevani and now Sanjeevani season II tht is DMG, this subject is definetely a trend setter and new hence it catches attention, moreever the star cast perfectly suits the characters thats what makes u completely hooked.

lolz its funny coz i watch ekta shows n iam simply obssessed with KZK 😆 n i do watch kaajjal, maayka, khwaish, kasturi, Kahni Ghar Ghar Ki, maayka, CID, but if u look at all those serials its all kinda lover story n then they get seperated apart from CID as its Cop show.
but after watching this show iam in love with this show its really good i luv the all concept of this show n its funny too i luv the star cast n soo far we dont have any villians in it like other show we do 😆

@sallulover: Kekta shows r addictive and ppl watch it, this show might have negative chaarcters in future, Anjali is likely to turn obbsessive lover, hope not, lets wait and watch, offcourse the show is like a breadth of fresh Air

Well i think somehow DMG has managed to star apart from all the other medical shows more bec of the fact that the cast is young and vivous.

Also, i agree with u that most of the docters in real life are just ambitious and stern however there are some who are very warm hearted.

I agree cool_pooja that there are some very warm-hearted doctors, bless them. But sadly here in the West, it's the exception to the rule. It's more about patients who may have more money than those who need care the most.
