FUSION CONCERT is very imp for Nandu ..

Earlier I was very confused as why fusion concert is so important for Nandu when MaNan already understand each other so well. Why Nandu is so fixated on this HOPE for their relationship??But is it really HOPE or INSECURITY ?

When the game of hope vs hate was made it was a foregone conclusion that they will sing together but when Dhruv came into picture the whole equation changed...even Manik did not expect it ...remember the episodes where Nandu gets restless and so lost thinking whether manik will again choose his friends over her...??? yup thats when her insecurity kicked in all over again..

So, I think more than hope... fusion concert is a way for nandu to get over her insecurities regarding manik...she still has the fear that if/when a cross road comes.. Manik might always end up choosing his friendship rather than love ...so in a way she needs this fusion concert ...to sing along with Manik... to reassure herself . She needs it pretty badly...even though they are pretty much back together...coz otherwise she will always be insecure about the relationship..

In other words she wants Manik to fight for them... 😳

I think what is making viewers disconnect is the overuse of the word "hope" by nandu instead of focusing what her actual concern is ?

i second u as its not Nandini ki fight only, its their fight now. in fact more Manik ki fight as he needs to keep both his friendship and love together. i think nandini will loose it completely on monday and accept that she needs to focus on music alone after Pandit ki visit to her home.

hi saamya... nobody fully understands what exactly is going on in that little brain...everyone have their own assumptions...so here is mine..😆...they gave just one scene where she recalled manik's words on NYE.."il choose my frndz" but again wen she let manik knw abt her fears...either in phone convo or ysdt dark room scene...she was talking abt her insecurities based on their past experiences on hw they always grow apart aftr being almost together... i dint feel her insecurity was based on thoughts of manik choosing his frndz over her ...

the idea of true love makes fire flies glow was instilled by her mom..so she believes in it..nd manik instilled that hope exists if fusion concert happens so nw thatz fixated in her mind.(got this explanation frm poo nd i got convinced 😛)..i believe datz her characterization..these things give her assurance ...like u already said...

i actually had thought..this hope and fusion concert is more of a symbolism for nandu just like fireflies..it might be one of the reason but not fully..we are coming up with all these assumptions because nandu's views are not properly expressed ..she just keeps on doing HOPE jaap..it took away the highlight from the main issue which is basically her insecurity..episodes are not even highlighting it till now...coz she was a keen fighter in this game till Dhruv appeared ...her spirit went low after that point...and thats the reason even Manik is trying his best to make Dhruv understand..it is just not to get his buddy back...he is fighting for them...thats what she wants..thats the real HOPE for her..

Hope...dat if they make it to the fusion concert together then...it means they r meant to b together ...back den wen all this strtd manik said he is going to make it really difficult for her ...so wen it strtd it was all abt nandu winning manik back ...nd she already did get him back..it was clear wen he said..itz not hurting that much... but still nandu is going on with the hope jaap coz she is still stuck there nd manik is responsible for that..he is deffo trying to make it to fusion concert with nandu...but y is he not telling her clearly that wat he feels right now..nd that no fusion no nothing will separate them...in fact wen in phone convo wen nandu said she was stupid to stick to this ...manik was again "no we have to have it all "etc... here manik doesn't want nandu to break or to give up the thing she was looking fwd to...but he is not realizing hw she is taking this way too seriously nd that she may actually have a nervous breakdown if any little thing goes wrong...

Even I don't understand the Fusion Concert funda. Why is it needed when they both know that they can't be without each other? There is no logic in that. But then, have we ever seen logic in KY2?
