When it comes to high end property investments in India, Bollywood stars rule the roost. From superstars like Sharukh Khan to newbies in the tinsel town such as Sushant Rajput Singh, all of them are splurging lavishly in property. Magicbricks takes a look at some these investments.

Magicbricks takes a look a look at some of the top stars and their choices when it comes to buying a property.

Let's start with Sharukh Khan or SRK or King Khan as he is fondly called. Apart from his palatial official address Mannat that he owns in Bandra, the superstar has several property investments India and abroad. His latest buy is worth a whopping Rs 100 crore plus. He has invested in two floors in a 64-storey tower in Lalbaug.

Another actor who has recently made an investment is Amitabh Bachchan, a star no less than the King Khan himself. As per city based realtors, the actor has multiple property investments. "I have heard that Amitabh ji has recently bought a sprawling house close to his Jalsa residence. It is reportedly worth around Rs 50 crore," says Ketan Tanna, owner Twin City Realtors.

The Bachchan clan seems to be on a property buying spree. While Abhishek Bachchan has invested in a luxury apartment for about 40 crore in Wolri, wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has bought a more modest 5-6 crore apartment in Worli.

As opposed to these celebrities, John Abraham is a keen investor and thus believes in putting his money into land. He once told Times of India that he was very passionate about land and he found it to be a better investment than stock markets. His land assets include a plot at Union Park which he bought for around Rs 20 crore.

The latest to join the bandwagon is Sushant Singh Rajput. The Kai Po Che' start has invested in a 5 BHK apartment in Malad.

Quite certainly, the Mumbai real estate market that seems ever so expensive for simpler souls, for these celebs it seems to be just another buy!
