I lamented before that all the symbolisms about a romantic link in the Pakistan track were all on Shaad's side. Shaad was to find her, keep her safe, and return her to her own husband.
And in between, Jannat helps him find his human side. A soft, caring, emotional side.
He looks like he's about to fall in love with her.
She reminds him that, in his gruff no-nonsense demeanor, deep inside there is a heart capable of feeling love. He's awkward and stiff, and Jannat seems to be thawing him out.
He's smiling a lot more now... you know those small smiles?
In his gruff way, he was showing her he cares. By offering her the gift of security. He gifts her a watch, one that is connected to his. Whenever she is in trouble, she can reach him at all times.
Solid and steadfast. Impressive.
Jannat loves the gift, his gift of security, knowing he'd have her back no matter what. Whether she remembers or ever will, she has been through too much alone without any help, in fact both her and Seher.

He has a crisis of intention. LoL... He was quite cute. Mulling his strange departure from normal clinical logic and purpose.

He rushes to MIsbah who has been waiting for a lift to town. She planted a bomb in the car, set to blow off after 5 minutes of her leaving. End of Shaad, end of the search for Shashi Kapoor...
At the same time, Sanam2 appears in town in a hilarious get up, as a wandering singer looking for alms. It was hilarious how annoyed she was when no one was impressed with her old lady act, and refused to help her...
But she finds the house and gets in. She is quite funny today, with her overly done old lady act, mannerism and all... LoL...
She wanders through the house holding an open bottle of cobra poison and the other hand poised to stab. As Jannat walks around also looking for her...

They skulk about in the charcoal fog, and Jannat gets creeped out. She presses her personal alarm and Shaad immediately dashes out of the car to jump on a taxi and run back home...
Finally Someone creeps up on Sanam2 , and surprises her...

Jannat offers her hand to help the weird old lady get up, and Sanam2 poises to inject the poison...
