Bollywood Wants Bootlicker's - Nadiadwala Grandson Sends Legal Notice
On the 6th of February 1562, The Princess of Amer Jodha Bai was married off to Jallaudin Mohammad- King of the Mughal Dynasty much against her will, to protect her kingdom. Ties between the Hindu's and the Muslims were unheard of, and this marriage broke all norms of that time.
After the marriage, Jalal gave Jodha the freedom to continue practicing her religion. Much to her surprise he let her live a comfortable life; according to people in the harem he did not give her much importance at all. But she was aware, aware of those stolen glances he gave her, many a times he had caught her staring at him too when he came to the Harem. Their eyes would meet and the rest would be oblivion. 2 months into the marriage Jallaudin Mohammad left for war, a formal announcement was made in the Harem, but she did not get to see him before he left.
******************
8 months, 14 days...
The harem was abuzz, the strong scent of rose petals filled the air, the palace was decorated with flowers of varying shades and the tinkering noise made by the eunuch's anklets could be heard as they tidied up the place. After an 8 month Campaign, Jalal was finally returning to the Palace, successfully winning his 6th battle in a row. A faster steed had delivered the news of Jalal's return, and since the message had arrived the Harem had become as busy as the local markets.
Jodha preferred staying in her quarters, which had been decorated in a manner similar to her room in Amer, as it gave her a sense of security in this new place. Since the news of Jalal's return arrived, even though Jodha had not taken part in the Harem's festivities, she had been the recipient of pangs that she could not decipher. The prospect of Jalal returning, some how seemed to make her smile. They had not spoken to each other much, but just seeing his face, would make her comfortable, at least make these pangs in her heart stop. She hated the man for whisking her away from her home, she hated him for putting her father in such a difficult situation, but as Rajput Wife she also wanted to see her Husband return safe and sound.
The shrill sound of the Bugle, cut through the chattering of the women. Silence dawned upon the Harem, as Jodha and all the others waited for the announcement. A loud and clear voice then announced ' Zil-E-Ilahi, Badshah Salamat Shehenshah Jallaudin Mohammad Tashreef La Rahe Hain''. It was a formality for the Ruler to present himself in the Courtyard of the Harem, to reassure the women of his safety.
Jodha ran out to the hallway that looked down to the courtyard, the unsettled dust that had been displaced by the horses clouded her vision. As her eyes accustomed itself, she saw several other women standing at the ledge looking at the Courtyard, many of them dressed heir best hoping that Shehenshah would choose them as his partner for the night. Partially hidden behind the Pillar she looked down intently, as she saw a lone figure walking in majestically. His every step calm and composed, he stopped when he reached the rough center of the Courtyard and spread his hands out as a sign to show he was safe.
Her heart raced as she saw him, the marks of dust on his face brought out his features. His steely eyes however kept darting round from one floor to the other; as he ignored the several swooning women who were giving him their best smiles. His eyes were searching for something, and were refusing to settle until he found what he wanted. He could then feel an intent stare, and his eyes darted quickly as it fell upon her partially hidden figure. The minute she realized his eyes were on her she looked down, for the brief moment that she looked up she saw a faint smile on his face as he turned around to walk away. She ran into her quarters her heart beating fast..

'Huzoor'', his trusted aide called out as she waited outside Jalal's quarters. ' Aapke liye Paigam aaya hain''. A resonating voice then replied, 'Andar aake Paigam ko Padake Sunao''.
She walked in and stopped a distance away from the door, as she began to read the letter out to him
'Shehenshah,
Is Jang se vijay hoke lautney ki Badhai ho. Aapke Patni hone ke naate hum chanhenge ki aap sada vijay hoke hi laute, aur Mughal Sultanate ka Janda har jagah Fehraye.
Aapke Hindu Begum
Jodha Bai '
Jalal smiled. This woman seemed to intrigue him always. He wondered, was she too shy to come and tell him this directly, or had she still not given up on her hatred for him? He smiled a little wider, as a thought entered his head. For whatever reason due to which she did not come to him directly, he was now going to do something that would definitely make her come to him. He was not going to let his Hindu Begum get away that easily.
'Suno, Jodha Begum ko ek Paigam vapas Bhejna hain. Jo bhi hum keh rahe hain use paigam mein likhke bhejo.'' The aide immediately getting out the quill and parchment that she had brought along with her, began to write as Jalal spoke.
' Humari Hindu Begum,
Hum Zaroor Pure Hindustan par ek din Hukumat Karenge, par use pehle ek bahut Zaroori kaam niptana hain, aapke dil par Hukumat Karna
Shehenshah Jalal '
'Abhi ise Vakt, Hindu Begum ko yeh Paigam deke Aao'' , Jalal ordered. The aide quite taken aback by the nature of the letter, hurried out quickly.
''Ab Mazaa aayega'', Jalal smirked as he saw the aide leave. .
Lo' Folks ! Here introducing you nor a modern, nor a historical but a teenage love story that has been bound to begin from their tender childhood and thereafter led to their teens ! To write this OS, I have given myself a quite span of time, to get swamped by various things, emotions and feelings in order to convey a beautiful mix of all this here. I don't write often, I just do it when I am conducted to do by the feel but the rest of time, I am really lazy so I am just good to begin a fiction but can never complete any of it, so here is coming the ideal opportunity to apologize in front all of my readers that had to go through my syndrome ! So please more than an OS, take it as an apology and tell me if it's sufficient to compensate the holes I have left within you all ! ;) Have a good read ^-^ !

PRESENT, MUMBAI, NARIMAN POINT
"Mumbai, the maximum city ! Known among the most populated cities in the world has somewhat to attract the people from whole around, with it's places, lover's carters and avenues, greeny and savage sceneries, surrounded by three of large beaches, with it's contrast of the urban and the rural landscape, the dynamite of a cosmopolite metropolis, with the leading hustle bustle of the central suburbs while on the other side the calm and the yet remaining peace on the seaside despite the bustling of city. Nariman point is kind of similar, aside the bordering skyscrapers, and it's perpendicular angle directly facing to the city, it's an ideal nest for lovebirds ! With the splendid view over the sea and the visual treat that gives upon the sunset, lovers come over for a walk along the beach, wetting their feet in the tepid ascent of it, either way to enjoy the thrills of the high waves during the monsoons or to rest back on the rocky bandstand, experiencing the sound of the gushing winds with the gaze fixed toward the teal blue sky of summer !
Lucky them ! ... Who think the sky is unreachable, too over height and above, who can gaze at it, at every moment, without fearing the day when they will reach upon for eternity, without fearing the sound of the clock hand that does tic... tac... for each passing second, minute, hour, day, week, month and year ...
Yes, my life has an expiration date ...
Yes ... my love life has a time limit !
It's much shorter than the others !
I have to shine brightly
like the fireworks in the summer sky !
I found out about this
when I was 8 years old."

FLASHBACK, 8 YEARS BACK, IN HINDUJA NATIONAL HOSPITAL,ON THE CHRISTMAS EVE
"Amazing !" left out an excited young girl, removing the ear tips from her ears and the chest piece of the stethoscope from his chest !
"Your heart's beating really fast !" letting out the made discovery with widened eyes
"Wow.Doctor. I am not so sure why, but ..." apprehended the young boy
"What's wrong ?" anticipated the girl, by closely peering him, making him over more embarrassed
"I am nervous and have a pain in my chest."
"That sounds bad. Let's have a look" enquired the little doctor, acting professional with a very stern and serious face
"Take of your pants. Take of your underwear." she commanded abruptly
"What ?" exclaimed the baffled boy
"Don't be shy ! I'm a doctor, so I am used to it." reassured him
But annoyed by his reticence, she began to do it by herself :
"So, off they go !" and she started pulling off the pants of his pajama ! The boy yet still baffled by the thunder that shook him, tried to resist against the wild doctor and struggled his best not to let his pants tore off by her :
"Whoa, wait a minute !" he begged
"Hurry up !" came the wild little doctor still not letting her grip off his pants
"What're you examining ?" he chided
"I said take them off !" roared the young lioness
"Nurse ! Help !" he left out a loud plead
Suddenly *thuuum*, a line up of fireworks started to arise upon the sky through the window of the sheltered hospital chamber
"It was our first christmas eve together !"
Her attention was all of sudden taken upon that, she deliberately lost her grip on him !
"Jodhaa, fireworks !" he exclaimed on his turn, mesmerized as well
Both of them hurriedly climbed the stairs, to reach the roof top, to get a better view of this unique spectacle !
"Though that was on winter and we were in December, a day before the most awaited Christmas and my birthday, it wasn't snowing at all ! That evening, the sky was of a teal blue like in summer, to let us ravish that instant especially !"
"That's so pretty !" left out an exhilarated Jodhaa, witnessing the magnificent sight of the sky, the teal blue sky of summer
"Yeah, it is !" Jalal responded with the same amount of excitement
"Jodhaa, I'll go get my mom and dad !" and he jumped off the bench toward the stairs. "Grab some snacks on the way !" she shouted, not even blinking to miss a bit of it !
"Okay !" and he began getting down at all allure until the 1st floor, there he started searching for his parents through the windows of cabinets which were still not shuttered at this hour. Finally he found out his parents at Jodhaa's Dad, in Dr. Shvetal's cabinet.
"Found them !" and he ran at his, by leisurely opening the door, to surprise his parents, who were surely planning to celebrate his birthday inside the hospital and seeking for that, Jodhaa's Papa's permission !
Within he reached, that was the 8 aged lad himself who was stricken by the leading conversation !
"You mean Jalal won't recover ?"
"Of course, we haven't lost hope. But please understand that currently there's no known cure ! ... So, this isn't really one but his diet and physical activities, these two must be controlled !"
"But that's just to prolong his life right ?" broke in the father with a choked voice, all emotional for his young lad
The doctor nodded nonchalantly, much to their misery
"If... if we do those things, how... h how much longer will he live ?" whispered on the father with much pain, despite the guilty sobs of his wife. However, he encouraged her to face the truth, by firmly holding her palm in his. In unity they will gain needed strength to face this tragedy, they thought !
"Don't ! We should know the truth !" consoled her husband
"Jalal's heart won't be able to withstand his body's growth. At ... at this rate, he won't be able to... to.. reach 20." hissed the doctor on a desolated tinge. The father rebuked with much difficulty the sigh of agony that seized him, not to let the mother weaken !
Everything happened in front of his eyes, he listened to the whole conversation and the each word started resonating through his ears, vibrating within him ! Not even a tear arose from his eyelids, but seeing his mother crying, his heart pinched for her ! It was on December 24th 2006..., a day before his birthday... Before he turned 9.
Now, should he be happy or sad for turning a year older ?
His attention shifted on his left side when he had begin hearing some sniffs, low but enough hearable !
There she was, in tears too ! Must have heard the entire conversation with me !
"My love life has a time limit !
No, ... let me rephrase that. Our love life has a ... time limit !"
"That night, much unusual to her habits, she didn't come to me. She didn't come to cont me the tales of Greek mythology, in which I still believe she is an Einstein. Nor did she teach me how to figure out the form of the constellations, among the twinkling stars, through out the shabby window of my chamber. Looked like even the stars got it as they didn't twinkle as brightly as they used to. I closely resented the loneliness in that dooming darkness. She didn't even come for a good night', I thought with a complaining grief !"
Next morning
"Whenever I used to feel low and depressed, I had my own place where to isolate myself from constantly being disturbed by nurses ! That was the sanctuary of Karnala, just in the vicinity of the hospital. It's a secluded place from the rest of Mumbai. Quite high in altitude, a place that seemed as a vast greeny pasture, in the height, facing the flagrant emptiness in the background, with a river nearby."
Jalal felt grief but was relieved at the same time ! Finally he has came out of the suffocation of that endless seventh stay' that was used as pretext by his parents since he was 3 ! At last, he got to know about it, no matter how brutally it reached to him, he thought he should be at peace as the long during suspense was finally over. But he was feeling more helpless and restless as each time the thought of it popped in his mind ! He will die ? He won't reach 20 ? His heart won't be able to withstand his growth ? The little boy was still in a stance that he just couldn't made up his mind over this ! What's death ? What's being alive ? Where will he go once died ? His virgin mind was yet to undergo a big trauma ! As he came trailing until, with those questions turmoiling his inner conscience, he hardly sustained himself from fainting when her sudden sight washed away all those pessimistic thoughts in him ! He found her there, kneeling in between the grasses, brushing away the weeds, cautiously looking for something down there ! Seemed like she has lost something important of her !
"Jodhaa"
"Jalal. Are you better ?"
"Yeah. As long as I don't run. What're you looking for ? Can't you tell ?"
"If I make a wish on a four-leaf clover, then it'll come true."
"I've never heard that before."
"Well I have."
At that, he went to kneel beside her, to participate in the hunt of a four-leaf clover.
"When you find one, what will you wish for ?"
"I don't know yet."
"But you're looking for anyway ?"
"Oh shut up. I was bored because you couldn't play."
After a short while of plain silence, she came up with an intention to taunt him with a tease that he really used to dislike before :
"Still wearing diapers ?" She chuckled, amused by her own tease. Today, her taunt hasn't that same ironical tone, it didn't seem as taunt but was more like a mask to cover up the original topic and may be the reason behind.
"Hey, so if I find a four-leaf clover, can I wish for something too ?"
"What will you wish for ?"
"To become an astronaut when I grow up."
"An astronaut ?" she exclaimed, a bit surprised.
"Than Jodhaa, let's get married."
She fixed him deeply after this, like those mediums, with their intimidating look in their clients' eyes, to tell their future ! With a kind of perplexed look for a while, as wondering about his proposal.
"That's my dream. To become an astronaut and marry you. Then work and home would be fun. We both will always remain happy." he proposed, confidently, with a naif smile.
Her answer, neither seemed to be "Yes, I would like to !" nor "No, I can't foresee it !" Just a plain look, that was reflecting nothing apart from something that's really bothering her. He would find out the matter, he thought ! And continued the research from the all long of the central bottom and now, after hours of exploration, they reached the edge side of the sanctuary.
All of sudden :"Jodhaa ! I found one !"
But before he could invite her to see, she promptly pushed him aside !
She implored the sky, by withdrawing from everything within her that kept her quiet until now :
"Please, god of the four-leaf clover !
Save Jalal ! Don't kill Jalal ! Please, let us be together ! Please, cure his disease ! Please ! Please ! Please ! Please ! Please ! Please !" and she began crying out loudly, unconsolable, worried that the god of four-leaf clover may not pay any heeds to her plead !
"Jodhaa." he shouted, to make her turn to him. Without any surprise, she gave him deaf ears.
He slowly approached and held her shuddered shoulders and deposed a peck on one of her cheek, that immediately silenced her !
Afterward, we had our own wedding ceremony :
I sneaked out of the hospital, with the long white curtain of my chamber, to her awaiting me at the Sanctuary with her Daddy's tool box.
As the veil would be too long for her, she cut the rest half of it, to make me a bow, so that I looked more like a groom and made for herself a disproportionate yet a pretty wedding gown. I pinned her veil, in her bun to make it easier for her to carry it along with her gown. We exchanged the rings fabricated of dandelion, renovated with the help of adhesive. Though nothing certificated and witnessed our marriage, we were bonded to each other by that union, beneath the teal blue sky of December as our witness, bestowing on us it's felicity and best wishes for the near future.
At that time, I didn't understand what death really meant ...
Now a days, Mumbai
Here I'm ! Laying upon the blue covered bed, to which I have been habituated since the childhood. Facing from the 3rd floor of St Mary's hospital, the sea view of Nariman point. It looks as if everything has started from all over again ! At the least exception of her absence. Though we still are living under this teal blue sky, though we were bonded beneath that same sky, now, it looks as the celestial has tricked us, by furnishing us the needed felicity temporarily, on the moment, to banish this benediction later, from our future forever. We are no more bonded to each other, she is no more by me. Or more convenable to say I broke this bond by breaking her heart in thousand of morsels, that she no more be able to reconstitute it and offer me again !
Jodhaa, my beloved. What you may be doing ? What you may be thinking about ? Have you moved ahead ? Did you find the ideal life partner, whom deserves you ? You used to think of me alike a stream of river, which is always coursing forth endlessly, ever unrelenting. But in this unflagging current of river, Haven't I forgotten you behind me ? Meeting me was your bad luck, falling in love with me was your biggest mistake and offering me your heart was your biggest waste ! In this 4 years, there hasn't been an instant where my heart hadn't squeeze for the pain, I have procured you ! The delay of 4 years must have been sufficient to cure that wound by a good encounter, isn't it ?
Your parents were right in demanding me that ! I had to teach you living without me when I'm still here so that once I'm gone, you don't even notice my absence ! You have an entire life and a bright future awaiting you, which you can't compel for a condemned sort !
Flashback, 4 years back
"Jalal, you said before ...
'Slowly approaching one another'...
Walking shoulder to shoulder at the same pace'...
'Telling each other what we like'...
I know what you like, Jalal
Therefore, it's now my turn to tell you what I like.
That's why I brought you here, at the nearby river of the Sanctuary.
This is my favorite spot.
This stream is my favorite place.
It's alike you ...
Always coursing forth endlessly, ever unrelenting.
They looking like they're cuddling.
What we like best ...
is cuddling." and she delicately put in her palm in mine as to describe this phenomenon through us.
I rebuked her contact as harshly as I could :
"Jo, can't we just avoid those yielding nonsenses please ?
I have only a short span of time in front of me.
So, just let me breath, let me live, let me experience something new, will you ?"
"Be nice and call me Jodhaa. Will you ? You were much sweeter when we were kids." she retorted, encircling my left arm with her small hands, leaning her head on my sturdy shoulder
"She was making it more grievous."
"And why are you singing this my life, my time song ? Have you forgotten about our taken oath in childhood ? To spend each moment as last and best with each other. We're hubby-wife, don't forget it !"
"Stop narrating the foolish scenario that we built up as kids, again and again, will you ?
It makes me over more embarrassed and remorseful, to see what kind of fool I actually was !
I don't want to waste my left time, through the recreations of this foolishness !
I would like to land through a new adventure, a fresh breath of air !
"And I guess, I can't really find it in you !" and he rudely ejected her nearby :
"Stop being clingy like that !" carefully analyzing the place where she would land and walked off.
As I reached the bridge to quit the place, I heard her yelling for one last time : "I refuse to divorce you !" In such a torn and teary voice that for a time, I felt crestfallen by my own act, and was about to walk back to her. But her mom's words began ringing in my ears :"Son, please teach to this foolish daughter of mine to live without you while you're here !" And I did the inconceivable to constrain her in this piteous state !
I had to oblige my feet to walk away from this place when everything inside me was howling the opposite.
I physically won the warfare, but the truth is, that day I have lost everything !
I think she understood that we broke up ! My last sight of Jodhaa, was her falling collapsed on the flange of river. This time, I couldn't even wipe those tears, provoked by myself. My one word would have been enough to sooth her, but for her welfare after my depart, I had to conceal my feelings and built up this act !
After that, we haven't seen each other for 6 months until she texted me one night :
"Jalal, I'll be waiting for you at our favorite spot by the next morning.
If you don't come, than I will understand to resign on you !"
Jodhaa, my beloved. How long did you wait ? Was that painful ?
Albeit the emergency of your presence in my life, I will remember you only once in a year Jodhaa.
Only on the 25th December, we pledged to gather in St Andrew's cathedral for Christmas' Mass
You must have forgotten it by now, but I can't judge you !
Why would you take at heart a pledge of a jerk ?
I'm turning 17.
Hey, Jodhaa. Tomorrow will be the 9th anniversary.
I do recall it ...
How could I not when the dandelion is still strongly attached to my Venus ..? (the planet of solar system, designing the ring finger)
<i> St Andrew's Cathedral, on Christmas
Without you, the Christmas Mass doesn't seem that melodious to aspire any warmth or tranquility.
The choir seems unfit for the solemn acapella chant.
They don't place great emphasis on the crescendo.
At the end of it, revisiting one last time the altar of St.Trinity, and deposing at the edge of it, their offerings, devotees begin leaving the church, by it's gloomy aisle, only lightened up with the help of multitude of candles, still not enough to unclasp the leading obscurity.
It's a kind of phenomenon that produced on them. She was those candles, and he, the darkness. She lighting him up was only temporary as the hollowness in which he was plunged was so profound that she just couldn't synchronize with his obscurity. So she was bounded to let it blow off, and he had to assure that it extinguished for well.
As he is lighting up the candles placed on the supremum altar, to give at least a faint glimmer of light inside the dimmed church on Christmas, he hears a gnash of match next to him, participating equally in erasing the gloom.
He has been astonished first, and checked with a wondering face, the moving shadow beside him as he is supposed to be alone in the Cathedral after the devotees left !
May be her ? The thought quits him as fast as it came.</i>
In this spiritual and sacred locus, it would be a sin to fantasize for something that isn't fated to belong him.
The place falls in a flat silence, to let two of the devotees worship in peace, to let them gain the inner appeasement of something that they get to confess, to open up toward someone faithful to listen for their requests, their prayers and the sensation of accomplishment and the satisfaction of being heard.
"Have you been happy ?" the unknown voice finally reverberates.
Unknown voice ? Is it really that so ? The asked question seems too familiar to be considered as unfamiliar ?
He turns shocked to his right side as the resonance and the tinge of the voice is immeasurably familiar and known to him. There is the anxiety, the impetuous envy to break the oath he made earlier and yet the craving for that one last encounter being finally accomplished. Secretly, he has been fantasizing for this moment since eternity.
His heart thumps along she removes the toga covering her head.
She is beaming in this radiant aura as an ethereal Goddess. Looks as Heaven has lost a fragment of it in her element. The pale white of the toga gives her an angelic sight. In this 4 years, she has turned into a splendid and elegant adolescent girl.
The disgrace of past flooded back to submerge the mesmerization when tears begin descending her cheeks.
He chokes in emotion as well seeing the tenacity of her long during loyalty but he very well knows that he is awaited to rebuke her once again.
"<i>Why are you seeking for sufferance Jodhaa ?" he slowly whispers within himself.
"I have been very happy !" he musters with much gut, to make her disgust him.
"You jerk ! Then how could you dump me ? How dare you look down on me ?"
"Not so fast Jo, please ! That's irritating. Otherwise, do you like my new hairstyle ?" He shows his bonnet.
She doesn't answer. Still overwhelmed and shaken by his reaction.
He thinks to leave while she is in her stance as the pain he is procuring her, is being excruciating to himself.
"Again I have to leave her in tears like a coward !" he blames himself for her condition.
He takes the tenebrous aisle that within he reaches the alley, he is prohibited to step over by her rushed back embrace.
"I felt Jalal's warmth.
Jalal's still alive.
He's alive and well.
I've finally realized that this if of utmost importance to me...
After winding down so many twisted paths..."
"Yes, I like it very much !" she precipitates her response.
"But I have only 3 months to ..." hissed his angst.
"I didn't love you lesser in past and nor I do now !"
The lack of her affection missed him dearly that he unawarely gives up to her this time.
He has wasted 4 years without her but this lasting 3 months, he will cherish it happily with her, he thinks and lovingly responds her back. Both hands intertwine their fingers and the dandelion of both Venus finally meet each other.
Few weeks later
"We're together nearly everyday.
Just like ...
making up for the time when we were apart."
As days pass, Jodhaa grows more worried and stressful for Jalal's condition. Though she has convinced him as well as she could, she still remembers, when he told her about his left days : 3 months. Since they have been together, he has never reminisced the topic, fearing it mays makes her unhappy. But what she fears the most is that, he comes to die alone, without notifying her.
Suddenly, he wakes up, disturbed by a nausea feeling and a piercing stomach pain :
"Jodhaa, I need to throw up !"
She hurries the utensil beneath him and massages his back to make him feel better while addressing a silent pray to the Almighty.
An hour later
The nurse comes to take him to the scan room.
"Wrong-timing again !" winces the 17 aged boy, again disturbed with his Dulcinea.
As she pushes the armchair toward the door, Jalal tends her a reassuring smile of "Don't worry, I'll be well soon !"
As soon as he leaves, she starts knitting a wool pull over for him as gift for their late 9th anniversary and his birthday.
Her stomach growls to an unknown worry and contracts nervous at the vision of the emptily covered bed. She embraces tightly the knitted rest in apprehension for an awaiting dread.
"Asclepius, the god of medicine and of miraculous heals,
as you saved the great Phyloctetes from a snake bite, during the Trojan war,
please apply such miracle on Jalal too.
Please don't take him away.
You can give me any kind of tribulation.
Just don't take Jalal away, please.
Please...
Let it be a miracle.
The teal blue sky of summer that Jalal is very fond of and venerates,
please apologize for your misdeed by curing him ..."
While in the scan room, it's an all different ambiance than of a miracle.
"How is our Jalal ?" enquires the father.
"His situation isn't optimistic.
His immunity is dropping.
Why doesn't he go home and enjoy his remaining days ?" advices the doctor to the parents."
Jalal's chamber
"I am persisting till the end !
My life doesn't only belong to me,
half of it belongs to Jodhaa.
That's why I won't give up on the treatments." he declares confidently. But as soon as he hears her approaching, he shushes his parents.
"Good news Jodhaa. Doctor says he found me a donor !" he smiles as gleefully as he can pretend to be, shocking his parents but lifting her to the skies of weal.
"Is... is it true ?" she says, unintentionally oppressing him by the collar in euphoria.
"Now that I can be cured, are you willing to waste this chance by suffocating me ?" he teases.
"Keep blabbering. Whatever you may say, now, everything seems sweet and melodious to my ears." and she embraces him tightly, relishing the pleasure that he provided her by this news.

~Humari Adhuri Kahaani~
I looked at the photo frame hung on the wall behind the wooden cupboard. There was she, smiling as brightly as possible looking at me. It has been five long years that she has left, she left me alone to fight with the hollowness in my life, the hollowness which was not there when she was here. She left me alone to the taunts from the society... I have to face those taunts still for daring to love her. My Jodha... She left me. She chose her parents over me.
"Why did you leave me alone Jodha?? I have loved you so much...", my heart cried for her.. My entire being cried for her presence beside me. But that was not to be. May be today she is married to some one else, afterall her father took her away from me only to remove my traces from her life. I still remembered the day when we last met.
FLASHBACK...
"Papa, please leave me.. Papa please..", Jodha cried her heart out in front of her father who was dragging her mercilessly.
"No Jodhu, enough is enough... After today, I don't want you to meet this bas***d..", replied Durga Prasad Talwar while continuing to drag his only daughter behind him..
"Papa, I won't meet him.. I promise.. but please don't take me away from Dehradun... I can't leave away from here..", pleaded the crying girl.
"Shut up.. Just shut up... Come on get up...", opening the car door wide, Jodha's father ordered..,"get up.. don't test my patience, Jodha.."
"Papa... please don't do this...", Jodha pleaded again, knowing very well that her words were falling on deaf ears.
Almost pushing the pleading daughter inside the Mercedes, and climbing the car himself after her, Jodha's father called, "Mohan, drive to the station directly".
"Yes sir..", Mohan the newly recruited driver answered his master, as the car speeded towards the railway station..
FLASHBACK ENDS...
That was the last day I saw her.. Even now when I close my eyes, I can see her red swollen eyes, looking behind from the car, searching for me..
Now let me introduce my self here.. I am jalaluddin mohammad.. I know my name resembles with the name of a great Shehenshah of Hindustan. But my luck is completely opposite to him. He was the Shehenshah-e-Hind and I was the driver of the Talwar household... driver of Jodha's car... And after I was shown the gate by Durga Prasad Talwar, I came to Nainitaal to search for a living and now I'm the driver of the Maheshwari household... driver of Mr. Surya bhaan Maheshwari..
"dhong..", the single beat from the old grand father clock hung on the wall informed me that it was already 1 a.m. With the same emptiness in my heart, I prepared to sleep.. So many times I've wished from God to end my misery in the sleep.. Actually, I'm afraid of death and so, I want to die while sleeping as my life had no meaning without her beside me.
I made the bed and after switching off the dim light which was partially illuminating the room, I crawled up on the bed to pass the long dark night with her thoughts.
NEXT MORNING..
"Jalal, aj 9 baje ke andar ghar pea a jana.. Aaj humare yahan guests ane wale hai.. Unhe lekar hume nikalna hai...", Surya voice came as soon as I picked up the ringing phone.
"Thik hai.. Par ek sach bata yaar... Guest hai ya phir koi special guest??", I thought to tease him for a while..
Though I was his driver, but he always saw me as his friend and shared his deepest secrets with me.. Like that I came to know that he has a girlfriend who lives in Shillong.
"Arre yaar.. Thik hai, batati hu tujhe.. Haa mera fiance aane wali hai aaj aur main use lekar ghumne wale hu.. Isilie Mr. Mohammad, aap please 9 baje k andar aa jana..", Surya answered feigning angry..
"Thik hai..", I answered before cutting the call.
9:00 a.m... Outside Maheshwari Niwas..
I was standing with the car ready for the love birds to come.. What an irony is it!! One day I wanted to drive with my love Jodha beside me and today here I was driving the car for my master and his fiance.
I saw Surya coming out from the front door with a woman behind him.. I couldn't see her face properly as her locks were covering it from me, but she was a petite lady and she held grace in her every action..
I remembered my Jodha.. She was also very graceful and this approaching lady partially covered behind surya was reminding me of her a lot..
"Aa gaya tu.. Chal ye hai Jodha, mere fiance", hearing Surya's words my heart beat stopped.
I looked at the girl as Surya moved aside for me to see her properly.
The lady looked up and there my eyes met her honey brown ones again after a long span of five years.. There was my Jodha standing but this time she was standing with Surya, my master..
She continued staring at me as Surya continued.."Jodha, this is jalal, my friend".
I couldn't read her eyes today... They had a blank look in them, whether it was confusion, or elation, or sadness, I couldn't say that... What was she feeling after seeing me, I didn't know and neither I wanted to know.. She was engaged to Surya, my friend and I couldn't betray my friend..
Surya opened the door wide for her to get inside.. She came inside the car and Surya closed the door after getting in beside her..
"Jalal, chal pehle view point pe chalte hai.. waha mujhe tujhe kuch dena hai..", Surya spoke as our eye lock broke.
"Hmmm..", I hummed feeling the loss of words.
As I started the engine, I looked at the rear view mirror to see Jodha's face. She was sitting there with her face downwards but maintaining her distance with Surya..
Did I see a tear drop fall from those doe - shaped eyes?? Was she crying?? But alas!! I couldn't see that now as she was now someone else's..
We reached the viewpoint after about 15 minutes.. The place was a bit less crowded as this was not the season when travelers come to Nainitaal. Wind was blowing with high speed..
"Jalal, Jodha, ek minute main aati hu..", saying this Surya opened the door and before I could reply, he was lost among the shops on the roadside.
"Jalal..", I heard her magical voice calling me after five years.. I looked behind..
"Jodha.. you are engaged to Surya??", I asked the question which was bothering me for a long time..
Her slow nodding of head confirmed my question.
"Hmmm..", I hummed.
"Please don't misunderstand me.. Papa ne zabardasti meri shaadi pakki kar di Surya ke saath... Believe me.. I don't love him.. I love only you Jalal..", she spoke with her voice almost on the verge of breaking down..
"Please Jodha.. Surya is my only friend in this life. Please don't play with his life.. He loves you a lot..", I answered trying to stop my tears from flowing..
---"But I love you Jalal.. Us din hum nahi kar sake par aaj toh kar sakte hai na.. Chalo na aaj hum bhaag jaate hai.."
---"Paagal ho gye ho tum.. Surya ka kya hoga agar hum bhaag gye toh??"
---"Toh aur kya kare hum?? Isi mahine meri shaadi fix hui hai Surya se aur main unse shaadi nahi kar sakti.."
As I was about to reply, I saw Surya coming towards us.
"Ho gaya tum dono ki baatein.. Mujhse kuch mat chupao.. Mujhe sab pata hai Jalal..", hearing his words, I looked up dumb founded..
From the corner of mine eyes, I saw Jodha also looking at him surprised..
"Aise kya dekh rahi ho?? I have come to know the full story from your diary Jalal.. Aur us din jab tum he fever that tumhare ghar pe maine Jodha ka picture bhi dekha tha.. Aaj main tum dono ko milwane ke liye yaha laaya hun.. Ab tum dono ko jahan jana hai jaa sakti ho..", Surya said making me admire him more.
"But you love her and she is your fiance?", I asked him..
"Yes, she was.. But No more.. She's yours from today.. In fact she was yours always.. I've never disrespected her..", Surya said..
I looked towards Jodha and saw a tear drop falling from her eyes..
"Par Surya..", I intervened him..
He stopped me, "Jalal, main tum dono se pyar karti hu.. Aur kabhi tum dono ko ek dusre se alag rakhke main khush nahi rahe paungi..."
"Par tum ghar pe kya kahogi?", Jodha spoke after a long time..
"Vo mere upar chod do..", he replied smilingly..
"Jao, live your life fully and keep in touch with me..", he said as we continued to stare at him..
This time my tears didn't stop but fell down on my cheek.. How to thank this man standing in front of me... I had no words..
He closed the gap between us hugging me and then patted my back.. Then after breaking the hug he gave Jodha's hands in mine and said," Jao.."
After that I took Jodha and she started to walk with me... At last we were free from all barriers.. at last we could again live like ourselves..
I looked back at Surya, who has bestowed me with the most important thing in my life and saw him bidding me goodbye.. Then I looked at front, continuing to walk with Jodha.. The front contained the dream of a happy household of me and Jodha which will be free from the distinction of rich and poor, Hindu and Muslim...
We continued our walk with the dream of a happy life ahead...

"Love is above all , we will cross all barriers to achieve it, jodha " he said it there but everything was lost she left him as her father wanted her to marry someone else but she belonged to him ,she ought to be forever his.
Destiny played cruel game on them but they ought to find a way ,a way out of the dark clouds in the light.
It was the day of jodha's marriage the place was decorated beautifully ,she wore a bright yellow lehenga ,with mang tika ,payal and other ornaments but ,but her face lacked the glow in it the brightness in it there was no shine in her dovey eyes they had become lifeless without her love she was nothing but she had to stay away from him ,his warmth, his care ,his arms his love,it was most difficult for her ,she considered it better to die than become someone else's but she had no way.
Flashback
When she got to know about her marriage she was hell shocked but there was no way out,she thuddered how would she tell this to jalal but no way she had to tell him but to her shock jalal was there standing and listening he could'nt control anymore and left the place jodha saw him going but did'nt urge to go ,her heart was melting seeing him go but she was'nt herself able to bear the pain and ran outside to see him ,the scene she saw shocked her to core her would to be husband and jalal were fighting and her brother wanted to tear jalal apart .jodha could'nt take it anymore and she fainted in the arms of jalal , her brother pushed him and took her apart from him to his house .all got tensed
But it was recognized that she was fine her father asked her if she loved someone else ,she replied in negative but her heart knew the pain she felt while saying that, her father then added that she is not supposed to love anyone and marry his boss.
Flash back ends
The flash back brought tears to her eyes but she controlled herself somehow. She was readily taken for the marriage but then the most unsual thing occurred the riots between hindus and musilms were in full swing they even entered the marriage hall and were ready to kill all ,all the ladies were taken upstairs and the scene which jodha saw shocked her to core her would be husband was attacked and killed ,jalal was removing the knife in his stomach butwas accused of commiting mureder by jodha's brother he was there ready to kill the person who destroyed his sister's life ,jalal was taken away by his brother but jodha's brother did'nt calm down and swore revenge against jalal .

Jalal:your sorry accepted ,looks like you are in the habit of making such false notions about people.
Jodha:come on forget it I am jodha and who are you?
Jalal: I am jalaluddin Muhammad the brother of qasim Muhammad.
Jodha :oh so you are qasim bhaiya's brother we are very close friends though being hindus and muslims.nice to meet you.

Flashback ends
Here even jalal was not in peace he wanted his love his jodha by his side forever ,the society was his obstacle who did'nt allowed him to get his love but he was ready ,ready to make all sacrifies for her.
Suddenly he made up his mind and decided to go and meet his love ,his life and flee with her to their's land, land free from all worries, miseries and selfishness ,land of love, love and only love of his life.
He went to her house through the window and saw her sleeping peacefully and was happy looking at her she was sleeping like a child and looked very cute she suddenly woke up and saw jalal.
Jodha:please jalal go away you don't know what will happen when bhai see's you here.
Jalal:don't worry jodha nothing will happen ,lets go away from here to the land of our love, away from all barriers.

Maina holds jodha's hand and till that jodha's brother come's and is shouting outside and here main is not leaving jodha's hand.
Jodha:jalal please go before bhai comes.
Jalal:no, I will go only with you.
Maina understands their strong love and leaves her hand and allows her to go.
They went away crossing all boundaries but yet their journey had not ended.
Riots were still going on and were all set to make their life more miserable .so they decide to hide in a damaged building of ten floors. but soon their brother's came to know about their act and went in their search.
And very soon a hindu girl being with a muslim boy during riots between both religions flashed the newspaper and soon their hiding was discovered .
Here jalal was ready to make love with jodha when her brother entered with goons and started hitting him he caught hold of his sister.qasim by the time reached for jalal's rescue .
And very next incident shocked everyone. He threw jalal out from fifth floor but jalal by god's grace was saved he was clinging to the window barriers.
Here jodha lost all her senses pushed her brother and herself jumped down.
Jalal saw this blood was oozing out of her body and she became lifeless,he could'nt see his love like this seeing her like this he was heartbroken ,here qasim arrived with rope for jalal's help but jalal left the rope and fell down beside his beloved hugging her from her back, leaned down and he looked at her face it was unhappy and she had tears in her eyes, saw her for the last time and whispered ,jodha you are mine forever True love will triumph in the end"which may or may not be a lie, but if it is a lie, it's the most beautiful lie we have ,we will be together always,I am your's till eternity.hearing his words her faced bloomed with happiness ,they died but together.
