Would Neil have agreed to a DNA test? He refused to even give an explanation, his word should have been enough is what he said.

Ragini would not have insisted on a DNA test, she would have been satisfied with a proper explanation, that is all she asked of him, and she was entitled to that explanation as his wife and the mother of his children.

The doubt and suspicion did not arise from the hand holding, it arose because Neil lied to his wife all the while when he put up Rupali in a hotel and was treating her and later admitted her to the maternity ward in his own hospital. And Ragini saw him with Rupali as he was lying to Ragini. Given the history behind Rupali's and Neil's relationship, Ragini had every right to demand an explanation from her husband.

Well said.

Neil would never have agreed to a DNA test and I do not think Ragini wanted it either. She wanted an explanation to all his lies - and he chose to not give it to her. Period. He owed it to his wife and to his kids.

As much as Neil is justified in expecting a bit of faith from Ragini, he was wrong to expect it when it was Roopali in question and Ragini had come clean with what she had witnessed. He needed to explain. He didn't.

Ekta makes great gripping shows but the logic in each of her stories is so far fetched and nothing close to real life, alas! Which man in the real world would let go of his family for 15 years for an unreasonable promise made to a dead girl friend? Especially if he was madly in love with his wife? Makes no sense, whatsoever.

If the CVs want to salvage the love story, they better make sure Nachiket breaks off the engagement with Nive BEFORE he finds out about the fake marriage and that he come to the realization that he is the one responsible for breaking apart a beautiful relationship and a loving family.
