So I'm sorry for the delay in this post, as I was at work all day. But I wanted to make it and I'm fulfilling my promise to that. First off I want to say that this thread should be clean and respectful. I know there are some die hard cricket fans around the world, but keep in mind that at the end of the day, this is a sport, a team sport, and just a game. You win some and you lose some. You can't win every year.

Coming to the semi-finals is not a joke. It takes a lot of hard work and effort. So for that, congratulations Team India. Each and every sincere fan of Team India should be proud of this moment. As I said you can't win every game. You have to give it your best and some days are just not meant to be yours. So in all honesty for those that are hating like crazy, stop the hate. You're not a true fan if you're hating so much. Yes I know it sucks to lose one of the biggest games. You win them all and then you lose one of the most important one. Trust me I know that feeling being a New England Patriots fan where one season they went to win all 16 games and then lost the most important game (Super Bowl). So I know that feeling. But as I said its always the better team that emerges victorious and it wasn't India this time.

What a great captain, Mr. Dhoni has been. Bow down to him for leading the team this far. He's been a great captain and deserves all the praise. We tend to remember players when they win for us, but forget them when they lose. Be the better fan, the better person, the better human and support them in time of loss as well. Dhoni played an incredible series and led the team very well. He deserves a lot of credit. He even stayed away from his family to prepare for the game. So please don't hate.

If you can't support them when they don't win, then you have no right to support them when they do. You're not a fan if you're out there throwing tantrums on their loss.

I absolutely cannot believe the hatred Anushka Sharma is receiving on India's loss. People burning her pictures, protesting her presence, blaming her for Virat's poor performance...What kind of respect is that for a woman who simply came to see her man perform on a huge platform. What crime did she commit? How can you even blame her? As for Virat, yeah he played poor. But what about those times that he helped India? We always forget players when they do bad for the team but praise them to the sky when they perform well. Stop the hate. Take the loss gracefully. All the hate and memes I'm seeing on these two is ridiculous. I'm ashamed sometimes to call myself part of a nation that simply has no respect for a woman.

I want to end this by simply saying, congratulations Team India for making it this far. Thank you for letting us enjoy this worldcup up till the semi finals. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, commitment, and love for cricket. Thank you for the journey. Thank you for all the laughs, smiles, joy, happiness, and much more. Thank you for being some of the best players that our country has to offer. We can't wait to reunite and see you back again better and stronger in 2019.

To the fans: Take pride in your country. Support them even through their loss. Be the better person. Jai Hind.

We bleed blue and stand united always in times of happiness and sadness.

And to Australia and New Zealand - Congratulations. You all played one hell of a game in the semi-finals and deserve to be in the finals. Good luck and play well. Great games by both teams.

#we won't give it back# the adventurous journey of this World Cup begun with this tag not only tag but with so many hopes ,dreams ...for India and for all the Indians ...the journey went surprisingly amazing making all of us surprised and pleased by the wonderful performance of our team ...making us to see the winning glory in each match and in every moment ...but alas the race stopped at the semi final ...disappointment in our hand but ...not blaming anyone for this loose ...the person who play only who knows the pressure of it ...we commit mistake at wrong place ...but still I can proudly say team India was the best team throughout World Cup who fought like warrior And won like a warrior in all its winning match ...the true warriors ...

"We cannot win every time but we cannot loose every time "from this hope I can say it was not our day but surely at next World Cup it will belong to us "...

Thank you team India for giving us such matches for playing like warrior ...,till the end ..the best team of this World Cup ...

Thank you captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni 👏 one of the best Captain in international cricket ...one looses matter but not that much that we ignore all the major victory of our team

This World Cup was not for us but next will ...

I am very happy with the team performance. Before WC I had bought family pack of popcorn, and I was not sure If I would be able to finish them when I heard Yuvrah, Sehwag, Zaheer, Gambhir were not part of the team. But thanks to Indian team, I was able to finish popcorns. 😆 Jokes apart

Indian team did play like a defending champions, and they bowled out 7 teams in a row which is big achievement itself thats 70 wicket. Even Australia were 8 down. Congratulation to Indian team for winning 11 consecutive match. We may have lost WC but we will try again next time. We made 5 centuries, 8 half centuries, that more then by any other team in the world cup. Even no. of maiden overs by Indian were more then any other teams. Once again, thanks to Dhoni for leading India and coming out as a champion after terrible tri series. Well done and Goodluck for next series.

Congratulations to TEAM INDIA who truly played like Defending Champions throught out the World Cup . So What if we lost .. We gonna get it back once again 👍🏼

And MSD .. Well .. Words become less for this man's effort and Hard work he did till now & is doing for Indian Cricket & for his Team ..Truly a LEADER , A Great Man & Cricketer.. And Our very CAPTAIN COOL .. HATS OFF to him for bringing Indian team till here (Semis) when noone was expecting anything from Team India 👏👍🏼

It was always a question, who will replace Sachin, Ganguly, Dravid, Kumble ? And out of form Sehwag, Yuvraj, Bhaji? Well, team India has gone far enough.. and thats awesome.

I still want in-form Sehwag (has he retired?) and Yuvraj.

We also need a gr8 wicket keeper batsman, so that Dhoni doesnt have to take all the burden in field. LIke Muccllum... and he serve India for a longer time. 😊

Thank you for all the beautiful and memorable moments Team India. It was truely a team effort and hardwork.

You played well against Australia but guess the pressure was too high.. But you fought till the end and made us proud.

Next WC gonna be ours

It was great to see an in form young team throughout the tournament. I'm by the next WC you'd improve your cricket, manage the pressure and emerge as the winners.

I'm so excited, Dhoni will now get to touch and hold his little one 😳

Cant wait for the IPL to start.
