She is pampered, feted
Sympathised and cared
At home and on shoot
Fed bowls of fruit
Caressed, and snuggled
Kissed and cuddled
So what if it is only for script
Raman bears it to the hilt
Caring & carrying her around
For which He feels duty bound
He looks puffed and jaded
She glows unabated
While she sits or lies
And cries cries cries
He constantly adjusts
So she feels no pain thrust
While his back whines
And aches - he shows no sign
Madam has to be gently tended
Not to be felt offended
Assured she is no strain
And serving her a joy not pain
I know he admits and says
Since many a night and days
My smile does not reach my eyes
However much I try and try
At the end of it all
I am worried for her fall
So she may on her duty focus
Till she heals I will take onus
And not let anyone point or dare
To spoil her good name fair
We are co- stars
And together have raised the bar
