Rafi Malik: I am biased towards positive roles

Actor Rafi Malik, last seen in telly show 'Desh Ki Beti Nandini', is happy to bag a role in producer Rajan Shahi's 'Tere Shehar Mein'. The good looking actor who will make an entry in tonight's episode says, he is biased towards positive roles. Excerpts from an interview...
How did you bag a role in Tere Shehar Mein? Describe your character and its look?
I had been giving auditions, so when Rajan sir called me for one, I decided to try my luck. Fortunately, he found me perfect for Ramashrey's role. My character is that of a studious boy, who has completed his studies and is looking for a job, but his father wants him to take care of a shop owned by him. My look is very simple and sober.
How was it working with Shahi and his production house, Director's Kut Production?
Rajan sir is very down to earth, understanding and helpful. He takes care of each and every actor. It will not be an exaggeration if I say that he is the best producer in the industry.
What kind of roles do you like - negative or positive?
As an actor, I want to prove my versatility. But yes, I am slightly biased towards positive roles.
Are you open to doing reality shows?
Not really. For the time being, I just want to focus on daily soaps.
Who are your favourite Bollywood actors and why?
I love Ranbir Kapoor and Shruti Haasan. Both of them are extremely talented.
When not shooting, what do you like doing most?
I love playing cricket and football with my neighbourhood friends.
Have you got a chance to shoot with Gautami Kapoor. Share us your experience working with her?
I am yet to shoot with her and can't wait for it to happen. I am sure I will learn a lot from her.
