karma /k'm,km/
noun
(in Hinduism and Buddhism)
the sum of a person's actions
in this and previous states of
existence, viewed as deciding
their fate in future existences.

. Newton's third law:
For every action, there is an equal
and opposite reaction.

See the relation? I don't.

neither do I. hence I asked. I have not much to say on this topic as I do not believe in karma or reincarnation. the link between the two just seemed a bit far fetched to me.

Newton's 3rd Law says "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction"

If you were to translate that into laws of Karma, it would mean that consequence of an action will be equal to the action itself, so if you were to do a good or bad deed (regardless of how small or large), there will be equal good or bad
consequence...

^ to me that appears to be a generalisation of newton's third law, since the law deals with forces on bodies; that forces on bodies are not isolated and an isolated body can not make itself move without an external force. I accept that the idea/principle suggested by the law has been taken to be applied to this situation but it still does not sit well with me imo. anyways, good luck with debate. 😊

Karma is a bitch. India never attacked any other country but still we were slaves for so long.
And those that did, are enjoying.

I don't understand anything about this world at all.
