It was a calm day , the last day would have been a great upheaval If rafia wouldn't have interfered in the matter.. Kashaf was all ready to say the bitter words that would not only make her father feel low but somewhere would let her mother down too..

Sidra was a perfect daughter thought kashaf.. She was beautiful , talented , knows the problems of her ammi and she was calm compared to the hot headed kashaf.. Not that kashaf loved comparing herself with sidra but sometimes the situations let her Do so..

Kashaf was sitting alone in her room she didn't had the dinner too.. after the turn of event that took place at her place made her gloomy but as usual she his her worries her insecurities within herself not letting anyone know..

Rafia came with kashaf's dinner and made her sit as she was lying closing her eyes covering them with her hands..

Rafia : kashaf kuch kha lo..

Kashaf didn't replied at first but she at first asked her ammi to go as she wasn't really feeling hungry.. But rafia knew that her daughter was crying inside..

Kashaf was sensitive but with the passing time she has made herself hard so that nothing could affect her but still a move that her abbu took made her realize that she was a daughter..

Kashaf : ammi kitna acha hota agar mein aapki beti ki jagah beta hoti.. Toh shayad abbu hame chod kar nai jate..

Rafia was stunned listening to her.. She made kashaf look at her.. She was crying and the thin layer of tears that she was trying to hide said it all..

Kashaf : ammi beta hona.. Ladka hona hi sab kuch hai.. Abbu aapne sir se ek bhoj hatane aaye the.. Aur aapne..

Rafia made kashaf quite and took her in her arms calming her emotions..

Rafia : kashaf mein beta beti me farak mein nahi karti beta.. Meri betiyaan bhi us Kabil hain jitna unka beta nahi hai.. Kashaf ye baat hamesha yaad rakhna.. Meine tum teeno ki tarbiyat isliye nai ki hai kyonki main tumhare abbu ko kuch dhikhana chahti hun balki tum teeno mere liye kisi bete SE kam nahi ho.. Aur mujhe meri betiyon par naaaz hai.. Na ki mein tumhe kuch kam samajhti hun..

Kashaf hug her mother and let out the silent tears.. She knew that what her mother has done no one can do and now it's her responsibility to see that her mother is happy and contented..

Rafia wiped her tears and made her have her dinner..

Next day kashaf was getting ready and more than her sidra was too excited.. She was taking out kashaf's clothes and asking her to wear the same.. It was the new outfit that was actually brought for sidra..

Kashaf : nahi sidra I won't wear this.. This is yours.. Ammi brought it for you and I don't want anything that belongs to you or shenila..

Sidra : but kashaf.. Its your first day and u want my sister to look the best..

Kashaf smiled fakely and draped her dupatta completely covering her self that only her face was visible..

She liked to be like this.. And for the university she will be completing her course thats it... She is not there to make friends or hang out.. Kashaf was quite clear with her point..

The study at university meant a good job and the secured life.. That's all she could think.. And she was now very much practical in her life and her views..

Kashaf was not even ready to see her name in the university merit list but she can't refuse her ammi..

Kashaf got ready and she was about to leave when her mother told her to wait that she will accompany her too.. But kashaf didn't want any harm for her ammi.. And replied..

Kashaf : ammi fikar na kare main chali jaungi ..

waise bhi mijhe nahi lagta ki itni badi university

me mujhe admission milega ammi .. sirf aap ke

kahne pe mein jaa rahi hun..

but still a mother is a mother how can she let kashaf go just like that she went with her.. kashaf knew how much they have suffered just because her father had turned out to be a shallow person and she need not to know what it meant by shallow.. khudgarz hai uske abba and her mother was the one who can be compared to some epitome of sacrifices .

on the other hand kashaf reached the university.. there were many expectant faces all were in the same expectation of getting the admission in the university.. she knew what it will be if she will be selected..

kashaf looked at the girls and guys all were from the high class society of Pakistan and she was the odd one out ..

she was looking around when a voice caught her attention..

zaroon : usama just see who is the topper in the merit list..

usama shrugged off and answered..

usama : how does it matter zaroon.. we are selected and that is all matters

Zaroon : it does affect me usama .. it matters to

me that who are given the first three ranks in the

merit list.. let me see who is the chudail..

KASHAF ...

KASHAF MURTAzA...

Usama : kitna mardana naam hai..

Zaroon : so kashaf interesting , dikhne me kaisi

hogi ye... waise bhi i would like to see the chudial

jo awwal ayi hai..

While they were discussing about the chudail , they didn't knew that she was standing beside them listening to them.. kashaf felt bad..really at one moment she thought that they were commenting on her looks and dressing but again she looked at them and saw them saying all the things that were somewhere her but she was still not the one..

Kashaf composed herself and went to look at the list.. she was glad seeing her name.. she knew that her ammi will be very happy and she gladly informed them...
