Vidharth poetry(?) -things i want to tell you

Things I want to tell you..

alias the things i wish i could tell to my hopeless crush but i cannot because he hates me and we are finishing school and going separate ways in 10 days masquerading as a vidharth poem!

POV:: vidhushi trying to cope with parth leaving her .

Sometimes I look at you when no one's watching

And sometimes I catch you looking back at me..

I want to run into your arms and say I'm sorry

But then I turn around like nothing bothers me

I wanna tell you my dreams,hopes hidden in my heart

What I wished for from the shooting stars

That one day the disgust in your eyes will disappear

That one day, you'll look at me and just smile

A simple smile of yours lights up my day

And a mere 'hi' keeps me awake

And I'm jealous of that girl ,not coz shes is cute

But coz she can make you laugh ,which I cannot do.

I scoff at your insults,turn it into an art

But inside they are like barbed wires,piercing my heart

Indifference is a mask that protects me from you

It cracks with your every word ,you slowly tear it apart.

I know I am selfish, and I am loud

I can be cunning too-of that I'm proud

But there is more to me than mere opinions by you

Like there is more to the ocean than the color blue.

I am more than what you think of me

Don't tag me black or white ,I'm varying shades of gray

A myriad of hues,a sea of emotions

An incomplete puzzle , a bundle of contradictions

And I know it will hurt , but I will move on

Because I am strong and independent ,a creation of my own

I can stand on my feet ,I don't need you anymore

I will save my heart for someone who will value it more.

note:: this is the first time i am posting any of my written works in a public forum so bear with me.Written in a bout of madness induced by caffeine and integration formulas at 1 am preparing for maths boards ,which incidentally kicked my ass fabulously!
