~Taani's POV~
Today my life became a joke for everyone. My best friend sharon's in-laws came to meet her in hospital as she delivered a baby girl today morning only. I was feeling very happy for her but what I heard made me stop on my way.
~Flashback~
"Sharon taani yet not delivered a baby na..??" asked MIL of sharon
"Ya being married for 3 years she didn't bear a baby" said bua.
"Maa and bua.Please stop it.Don't say like that" exclaimed sharon to keep them quite.
"What's wrong in that sharon.? Its true." replied bua "and I wonder being married for 3 years why didn't she have a baby.? Bua again said poison diping from each and every word.
"God knows.! May be there must be problem either in reyansh or in taani" said MIL grining.
"Stop it maa.There is nothing like that they both are happily married ok" said sharon defending me.
"Ta..taani" said sharon sensing my presence.
I just left from there and ran into my cabin.
~End Of Flashback~
I was broken,shattered and was feeling vulnerable. But they were right I don't have any child after 3 years of marriage but actually me and my husband Rey doesn't share any marital relationship.For world we are a happily married couple leading a normal life just like others.But we are "just friends"...yeahhh "just friends". But its not our fault.It was an arranged marriage.Our parents wanted us to get married so we got married.But ya I want to confess I started falling for him when I first met him but for him it was called as a forced marriage.I got to know this on our wedding night he told me very clearly that he got married as he was forced by his parents and accepted this proposal as his mother was crying and he couldn't see anyone crying because of him so agreed to get married.I was broken at that moment ,I thought that I will respect his decision so I controlled myself and faked a smile and said I'll respect his decision.I went into washroom to change but it was getting difficult for me to control anymore.I broke down in the washroom I closed my mouth with both my hands so that he couldn't hear me crying.I was crying amd sobbing badly.My dream of having a lovable husband and a cute little family was now shattered.I was crying and crying when I heard a knock on the door.
"Taani..??" He was calling me from outside.I realised I forgot the time. After wiping my tears and clearing my throat I replied him saying "Coming".
I came out side with my head low so that he could not see my swollen eyes.I went towards the couch to sleep with a pillow and a blanket and not to forget with a hope too that he will let me sleep on the bed but I was wrong he without even caring went to sleep.After that night I learnt not to expect anything.
I always took care of him and even tolerated his anger but I didn't give a damn beacuse I love him whole heartedly and will always show my care and affection towards him.Sometime I even felt like screaming and telling him how much I love him but you know evrything is not in our hands.I always used to wake him up for the office,prepared break fast and always used to keep all the necessary things for office work ready.I completed all my responsibilities being a wife and I would never blame him for not completing his responsibilities beacuse the Respect he is giving me is more than enough.I can't even force him to love me beacuse I want him to love me whole heartedly not forcefully.From last 3 years we are living a robotic life.Me and rey both going to office and coming back home late and directly going to sleep.But what can we do it's our destiny and we can't help it.I don't want rey to fall for me forcefully I just want when I die just a drop of tear,a single drop of tear should roll from his eyes.That would be my last wish.I don't want to make him cry,but that single tear will mean alott to me,as he cried because he will MISS me.
I was brought back to the world when I heard a knock on the door.
"Yes come in" said I composing myself.
"Hey taani" said swayam coming inside.
"Oh hi swayam.! come have a seat." I replied settling on my chair.
"I came here to ask when are you discharging sharon.?" asked swayam.
"I know swayam you are very eager to take sharon and baby to your home" said I smiling at swayam's eagerness "but we can't discharge her so soon.We have to take care of baby and sharon too but after two days you can take them back" said I assuring him.
"Oh ohkay taani.Take your time after two days only I'll take them back" said swayam with a smile and left from there saying thank you.
I too went home after that but sharon's family's words were ringing in my ears. I reached home and directly went upstairs into our room and sat on the couch.Today's happening brought tears in my eyes and don't know when I felt asleep.
~End of Taani's POV~
"Swayam..Swayam" called sharon panicking.
"Woah...easy sharon...what happened. ?" asked swayam with a concerned tone.
"Swayam maa and bua said many bad words to taani about her married life that taani being married for 3 years she didn't bear a baby and all" said sharon almost on the verge of crying."Swayam she was crying badly" said sharon breaking down.
Swayam was stunned hearing this.He was fuming in anger.How could his parents say something like that.He as feeling ashamed of his parents.He will speak about this to rey now he has to take care of sharon.
"Baby calm down.Your health will be affected.Don't panic.I'll tell this to rey okay.Now please calm down" said swayam hugging sharon.
After calming her down swayam went and callef rey and told him that taani delivered their baby and also apologised saying that his parents taunted taani and he is very sorry for that.Rey didn't understand what swayam was saying he just said its ok and disconnected the call.
Rey went to his home and went upstairs and he saw his wife sleeping on couch in an uncomfortable position.As he reached near her,he knelt beside her and saw his wife sleeping with a pale face,her smudged kohl everything was telling him that she cried alot.Her face was a perfect example of pain,tolerance and patience. Though he didn't care about her but he wanted to know what made her cry so much beacuse as far as he know,he never saw her crying but then something strucked him.He then remembered his past incidences with her.How rudely he told her that this marriage was a forced one as he doesn't want to make his mother cry beacuse he doesn't want anyone crying because of him.He also told her that he does not care about what she thinks or feels for him as he has better things to do in life.
Shrugging off all these thoughts he went inside washroom and got changed and came back.He thought to made her sleep on he bed.His heart and mind were fighting but atlast his heart won and he scooped her in his arms and kept her on bed gently so that her sleep didn't get disturb. He also slept beside her and went into deep slumber.
Next morning was sunday.Taani woke up and saw that she was on bed sleeping with rey.She got a 1000 volt ka jhatka.
"I slept on the couch.How come i am on bed.?" thought taani "Did rey make me sleep on bed" thought taani but shrugged off that thought and went to freshen up.
After sometime Rey was watching TV and taani was preparing lunch in the kitchen.
"Taani..!!" called rey from the living room.
"Yes rey.." shouted taani from kitchen.
"Actually I was thinking to meet sharon.I mean swayam and sharon are blessed with a baby girl na.So didn't meet them yet.You wanna come..??" asked rey
"Ummm...ohkay cool .I'll come. Lemme change first" said taani and went to change.
TaaReY reached hospital and went to sharon's ward. Rey congratulated both sharon and swayam and also took the baby in his hands. He was adoring her cutely.Taani looked at him and saw his actions which automatically brought a smile on her face but it soon go disappeared thinking about their present situation. Her thoughts were disturbed by a call
"Hello " answered taani.
"Hello mam." said the receptionist "Actually I want you to come to your cabin. There is patient waiting for you" told the receptionist
"Okay . Wait I am coming" sqid taani and hunged up.
"Guyz I'll be back" said taani and went from there.
As soon as taani left
"Rey I am really sorry for yesterday" said sharon in a sad tone.
"Sharon and swayam I am really not getting why you guys are apologising.?" asked rey confusingly.
Then swaron told them every thing. Rey was feeling guilty. He was not getting how to react. Somewhere behind this he was at fault.
Taani came back after completing her work and left to their home.It was silent ride. Both of them were not talking.
At night,taani was settling on the couch when rey called her.
"Taani...!!" called rey
"Yes rey.?" taani questioned him.
"You can sleep with me on the bed" said rey hesitatingly.
Taani was shocked."It's ok rey. I'll sleep here" said taani after recovering from shock.
"No taani.You can sleep here with me" said rey
"ummm ok" replied taani.
Both were laying on either sides of the bed.But sleep was far away from their eyes.Here rey was thinking about swaron words and taani was thinking about her relationship status with rey. Both noticed each other.
"Taani.Are you asleep. ?" asked rey.
"No" said taani and sat on bed.
Rey too sat on bed with his head low.
"Rey are you ok.?" asked taani with concern.
"Taani why didn't you tell me about yesterday's happening." asked rey in a low tone.
"Rey..what a..are yo..you talking about.?" asked taani shockingly.
"I got to know everything taani.You shouldn't have hide this from me" said rey with pain.
"Rey we can't share each and everything with everybody" said taani sadly.
"Am I just "everybody" taani..?? Said rey.Pain was clearly visible im his words.
"Rey you are everything.." stopped taani in mid way realising what she was going to say.
"I mean..rey this is our destiny.We can't do anything. " said taani controlling her inner feelings.
"But taani our future depends on our present actions" said rey.
"But rey these present actions we do are already written in our fate.We can't change them" said taani and she was verge on crying.
Rey understood her feelings and he just embraced in a gentle hug. They both were sobbing silently feeling each other's pain. Their silence was speaking volumes. Rey was soothing her pain and was calming her down.After sometime rey felt taani is not crying anymore he called her er but she didn't respond. He got to know she fell asleep.He just made her lay down on bed and went to terrace.
~Rey's POV~
I was feeling really sad. My one mistake has affected her life so much. She deserves much better guy than me but still she is with me. I know she love me unconditionally. I got to know it when I read her personal diary. Her love for me is really selfless and I know without her I am nothing.My morning starts with her and ends with her. She never made me feel lonely. She completed each and every responsibility as wife but I couldn't give her happiness which she deserves. I should have realised it long ago but now I LOVE YOU taani. I have fallen in love with you,with your selfless love for me. I'll confess it tomorrow on a special day I.e. Your birthday. Just wait and watch. Here I come sweetheart.
~End of Rey's POV~
~Next Day~
Taani woke up with a phone call.
"Happy birthday taani" screamed sharon from other side.
"Thank you so much sharon" replied taani happily.
"Sharon please don't scream baby.Your health will get affected" taani heard swayam saying which made taani chuckle.
"Offo stop it swayam amd wish her." said sharon and handed swayam phone.
"Happy birthday taani" said swayam.
"Thanks alot swayam" replied taani.
"Ohkay you enjoy taani.Have a nice day" said swayam amd hunged up.
"Rey don't even know today is my birthday" thought taani and became sad.
"But where is rey.? I mean he went to office" thought taani and went downstairs after getting ready amd left for office.
In the evening taani came back from hospital and went to her room but as soon as she entered a bucket full of rose petals fell on her.She was pleasently surprised. She was twirling with joy. Then she saw a projector in which all the pics of her was displaying. As she was looking at them a pair of arms snake around her waist she gasped in shock.
"How is the surprise sweetheart" asked rey huskly.
This statement made taani shocked to zenith. First rey surprised her then he is callin her sweetheart. If rey wasn't holding her she would havr fainted beacuse of happiness.
"This surprise is for me.?" asked taani with wide eyes.
"Of course cutie pie" said rey smiling at her wife's expression.
"I want to confess something taani" said rey and taani looked at him surprisingly. Rey knelt down in front of her.
"I know taani you must be thinking that I have eaten some thing wrong because of my behaviour but taani I am perfectly fine and I want apologies for my deeds. Being a husband I could not fullfill all your wishes and I also know that you deserve much better guy than me but taani I realised now that I am very lucky to have you in my life I am really happy that you don't found that perfect guy god knows what would have happened with me. I know I might sound selfish but I don't mind saying that coz I LOVE YOU taani.I really do."Tu hai toh main hu" taani i am incomplete without you.Please complete your rey taani.The way I treated you,I know you will not accept my proposal but taani just one chance taani I'll give all the happiness and will snatch away all the pain I have given you with my love. I can't promise to solve your problems taani but I can promise you won't have to face them alone.Please taani just one chance" said rey his heart out.
Taani was crying badly she doesn't know how to react. She was feeling like she is dreaming but that's thr truth. She just hugged him tightly and said "I LOVE YOU TOO".Rey couldn't balance himself And fell on floor with taani on top of him. Both were crying now but these were tears of happiness and they were just silently feeling the love of each other.
"Taani I reallly dont mind spending my whole time with you like this but there are many more surprises waiting for you" rey said smiling mischievously.
"Surprises..What surprises. ? Asked taani with shining eyes.
"Come lets go." said rey closing her eyes with his hands and led her to their room's balcony.
"Tadah..here is your surprise" said rey and removed his hands.
Taani eyes literally popped out seeing the beauty in front of her Eyes.There was a table in middle of the balcony and rose petals were scattered on floor and candles were lit up in a beautiful way and it was just perfect.
"Taani come let's go" said rey an held her hand and took her to the table.There was a cake in the centre of table in which taarey photo was there.
"Taani cut the cake" said rey.
Taani did cut it and fed the first piece to rey and rey did the same.
"May I have the pleasure to dance with the beautiful lady" said rey extended his hand.
Taani kept her hand on his and accepted it shyly. They both were dancing slowly lost in each others eyes. Rey was slowly coming closer and was decreasing the gap between them he slowly kept his lips on her and started smooching her slowly after sometime taani started responding and rey entered her mouth and the kiss turned into a passionate one. They both were kissing each other madly and broke the kiss after sometime which felt like eternity. They both were panting heavily and both murmured "I love you" together.Rey scooped taani in his arms and said "Lets give a good news to our parents sweetheart" winked rey.Taani blushed furiously and hitted him on his chest playfully.

Some times we feel that god is not giving what we like or love but waiting for it and getting that thing is truly an amazing feeling you will ever have.So don't be sad about the happenings in your life.Everything you want will come to you at the right time and that will increase the love and respect towards it even more.
