@Arshics when you write it I am feeling it. You know your last post bought tears to my eyes when you said Maya-Rudra lived the life in few minutes. But alas the scene didn't bring that effect to me. I mean though the dialogues were good and the effort Rudra took for Maya was appreciable especially I liked his dialogue for you if I have to fight death I will do that, scene as such didn't reach that level. Though when Maya said she want lehenga that too deep red I really felt for her. That scene overtook this scene for me. In which she was mentioning those wishes. It showed her need to live a life which she is going to be denied. And he bringing that life to her hopefully had been as beautiful as you explained. It fell short for me.
See Balivesh is materialistic,Dadi people centric
Balivesh and Dadi were willing to barter one for the other. Balivesh dead Saraswati Kund and Dadi a dying Maya. and Shiva he went into a higher level yesterday. I mean a level not many human beings can think of reaching . Because he considered the dead Kund and the dying girl precious enough and not worthy of a barter. His would be DIL is Sacred and should be respected for what she is, so is Saraswati Kund equally sacred and should not be given to anyone who doesn't think daughter of the house as sacred.

So true Shruthi, shiva, the one who i had labelled as too mission focused, and as a man who just has blocked his heart and mind to all else except the quest for amrit - in expressing his Duvidha, showed his vulnerability and in refusing to treat both Maya and the Kund as tradable commodities has shown far more love and respect for his family and his heritage than Dadi's offer of the olive branch!

Shiva rose in stature by showing his vulnerability, and rudra rose in stature by showing his ability to put aside his own pain and giving Maya her due!

Balivesh of course fell even lower into the pataal, when he allowed his greed to take over his one chance to show some humanity!

Goes to show that real courage is not the sharirk bal, but the mansik bal, which father and son duo of shiva and rudra have in plenty, but the other father son duo of the Vesh are zero in.

For too long, the taqat has ruled, not its the turn of himmat!

@Arshics even I was with you telling Shiva mission focused. But I had also mentioned that Shiva is straightforward and not a hypocrite. He stands for what he believes in. No matter what. Dadi speaks great things, but when it come to action her words and action are in contrast. On one hand she calls the woman of the house KulDevi. She tells we forget to worship the kuldevi of the house, she asks Shiva not to meddle with Saraswati Kund calling it sacred.
In one stroke the Kuldevi of house and the sacred place became barter properties for her. Then what is the use calling them sacred.
Shiva yes he doesn't show his emotions and his focus is his mission but faced with a situation he knows to give respect where it is due. Maybe he has missed some things in his focus on mission, but whatever he says he practices it.
And Rudra yes he is like his father. The difference between them is, it is easy to trust Rudra because he expresses himself in a manner people can relate to. Shiva is also trustworthy but people need to understand him in the right sense.

Great posts Arshi and Shruti!

People do not accept other people who think differently than themselves. They are given various labels. Shiva too is different from his family who only believe in faith, seva and forgiveness. Shiva too has faith but he sees the larger picture. He Shiva's duvidha was so well portrayed. Also loved his answers to Balivesh. He shows his respect for his mother and daughter in law. It is good to see an educated man giving respect to his mother despite the fact that they almost never agree with each other.

So true, I have always felt that the mother son love each other a lot, but their ladai is a sidhdhanton ki ladai and when two strong people who have conviction in their beliefs yet deep emotional attachment to each other fight, we see this.

Shiva has tremendous respect for his mother. And yes she has labeled him as unfeeling, yet this man is solid as a rock, but not hard as a stone!!!

Thank you. This coming from you means a lot. I have been running short of time. So don't even edit my posts.
I have been thinking of asking you. You dont make your exquisitely crafted posts anymore on Arshi's thread. Atleast of late.

It's mostly a matter of timing, Santhi... Sometimes I watch late... then by the time I get here, everything has already been said... Bas all that's left to do is applaud! 😳
