Saif Ali Khan to be stripped off Padma Shri?

Reports claim that central government is contemplating on the petition filed against Chote Nawab

Back in 2012, ahead of the release of his much awaited film, Agent Vinod, Saif Ali Khan got into an ugly brawl with one of the customers at Taj Hotel. It seems like the Phantom actor is still facing the repercussions of that fight, as reports are doing rounds that Chote Nawab may be stripped off Padma Shri title.

If rumours are to be believed, then Centre is considering to take away the honour awarded to Saif on 2010, based on a petition filed by a RTI activist. The petition filed to central government demands that Saif Ali Khan should be stripped off Padmashri for his unruly behaviour at Taj Hotel in 2012. Chote Nawab has been surounded by controversies through out his carrer. Recently his wifey, Kareena Kapoor Khan's image was used in VHP's Love Jihad campaign, which led Saif rushing to Kareena's aide. clarifying that the Udta Punjab actress has not been converted to Islam post marriage.

Will his momentary loss of cool cost him a Padmashri? Well, the Centre seems in no hurry as the petition has been discussed for last seven months. Looks like we will have to wait and watch if Saif can keep his Padmashri safe.
