Short Story - Dream a little dream [Last Chapter - P 34]

Interesting setting. Though Geet and her family is very much typical Indian. Interesting story as well. So what goes on from there?

A dream so potent that it put mine on hold...

6am. I thought I was doing some light reading before finally sleeping. A chapter later and I've got my laptop out and I'm typing this. I can't impress enough what a compliment I intend that to be.

The tone and setup of this story is so different... vibrant, flickering through time and space, yet congruous and already so layered... I've never been to Goa and recent experiences have cast it in a poor light for me but I have a feeling that the time for reform is coming.

Continuing to feel seventeen even after growing up, an ancestral home, that child like mishti chori... all these allusions to age and growing and yet staying the same... I'm excited to see if this becomes a binding thread.

The breeze that I imagine forced its way through the heat and rain knocked as much out of me as it did Geet.

I so love what you can create with words.
