I was late again.I saw Cabir waiting for me through the window.I grabbed my bag and rushed out hoping he wouldn't be angry.I suddenly slipped,I shut my eyes tight.I thought I would break my bone but a strong pair of arms held me.I slowly opened my eyes to see Manik.I got back on my feet.

"Thank you"I said,I din't know why I was blushing so hard.

"Anything for you pretty lady"he said in his husky voice.

I started into his dark brown eyes.

"hmmm...Nandini..your boyfriend seems to be waiting for you."He said bringing me back into my senses.

"Uhhh...BOYFRIEND?"I asked with a confused expression.He pointed towards Cabir.

"Your Boyfriend."he said.

Oh god he thought Cabir was my boyfriend.I started laughing my heads off.He looked at me totally confused."What happened?"he asked.

"what made you think he was my boyfriend?"I asked not able to control my laughter.

"I just thought so."He said .

"Navya...will kill you."I said walking towards Cabir's car.

"Who Navya?"He asked.

"I'll tell you later...getting late."I said getting inside cabir's car.

"phew,,,,finally you came..."Cabir said sarcastically.

I looked out of the window and saw Manik wave at me,I smiled and waved back and I noticed by cabir.

"By the way Ladoo,,,what was happening there?He seems to like you,"Cabir asked as he started the car.

"Oh...shut up Cabir. and he already has a girlfriend,Alya."I said hitting his shoulder playfully.

"chill...anyways..who is he and what does he do?"He asked.

"He is Manik,,,my neighbour..He studies at Warrior High and is a Basketball player"I said.

"Warrior High?So is he coming to our collage today?"

"mmm...why would be come?"I asked searching for my phone in my bag.

"aree...today is the basketball match...our collage against WH,"Cabir hitting my head softly.

Shit!I had totally forgotten about.Manik will be coming to our collage today,

We reached collage.I was near the tree waiting for Abhi and Navya .Cabir had gone to the canteen to get him some food.I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned back to see Manik,

"hey Nandini"He greeted me with a huge smile.

"Hi Manik...you dint tell me..."before i could complete Abhi called out for me,\

"LADDOO..."Abhi shouted out loud.

I was embarrassed as I heard Manik repeating the name "laddoo" and smiling.

I turned back and gave Abhi a angry look.

"What? My Basketball match is about to start and you are here flirting without a Warrior High guy.."He said.

"Shut up..Abhi..."I said.

"Manik...I need to go...all the best for your match..see you around."I said without looking at him and went along with Abhi.

The Basketball match started.i never liked basketball but because Abhi played basketball i used to watch.I was sitting along with Cabir and Navya who were busy in their romance.

Suddenly I heard People screaming. I saw that Manik had scored for his team.

Alya who was the cheer capatin went to him and kissed his cheek.I dont know why but i dint like it.he turned away my head.

I looked back at Manik who was looking at me as well .He smiled at me and I was blushing again.I wonder why?

The plot of the story is totally different from the show. As my exams are going on im not sure when ill be able to update.i will update when ever I get time.
