After watching the cream stealing episode of masterchef today, I feel so dissapointed In a show that started off so well. The first season was really good, where the focus was mostly food. The show was a genuine cooking competitions The second season was still ok, but in the second season favoritism started, with all the attention given to shipra. In the third season, the standards went down further, when Doyle's nautanki was given so much air time. She was saved in the giant falooda task even though her falooda was a mess, starting the trend that if you want to survive in masterchef you really don't need to be a good cook at all, just do nautanki. Now in the fourth season the show has degraded horribly, where people are stealing and no action is taken, where good contestants are dissapearing and bad ones are hanging around, where the focus is hardly food but other dramas. If you were to watch cooking competitions in food network USA, these competitions are so professional and the focus is only food, no dramebaazi, people are removed solely for their poor performances and strong performers survive. Even masterchef in other countries is more professional. The worst part is renowned chefs like sanjeev kapoor and vikas Khana are part of this mockery of a competition. In my opinion they should not associate themselves with such a show unless the standards improve.

Totally agree...👍🏼
One of my favourite contestants whom I pictured to be one of the finalists got eliminated...cud not understand y the cream matter was left for ignorance by the chefs...😕...it shud have been cleared then and there...karishma clearly looks has some influence from the star plus channel and the chefs told to be partial towards her...I can't understand if a person is weak in chat items, Gujia etc...comes out successful with flying colours in comparison with seasoned cook like nikita??...okay if u r truly a master in flavours...I understand...but here both the epi...chefs were ungli chatofying other dishes...praising other contestants and winner is karishma......wah bhai wah👏

Looks like drishti too is mum about the partiality and is retweeting the unfair decision by the chefs...outburst comments on karishma on her Twitter...

I was also reminded of the falooda task because I hated how Doyel was declared winner due to taste of individual components where finding those so-called components in that slush would have been impossible..
The common point between that and yesterday's episode? Chef Sanjeev's words - 'You are like my daughter'..

i think in this season if you want to stay then you have to do nautanki or gain the sympathy... like - Ashish ...he is still here, though he cant cook properly, but he is still in the show as they have to keep some elements in the show to gain TRP , though i dont think its needed ...always repeating the same dialog - Mujhe apne upar se woh looser ka tag hatana hai 😡 and then this karishma , who is just kept in the show as a model to flaunt around and show her huge big dangerous teeth. 😆
and i think all this bias is because of chef Sanjiv Kapoor, he is only the one who gives final judgement and he always ready to overlook Karishma's faults.

How can you say that Chef Sanjeev Kapoor gives final verdict and he overlooks Karishma's fault.. Yaa he is senior that's why they show him giving the verdict but if you remember while having the chat with other fellow judges he said after eating Nikita's chaat platter that this cant be eliminated today.
I don't know why I often see members here have something against Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. In yesteray's episode Chef Vikas knew very well that Karishma's cream was not done properly then when Drishti told about the same why he didn't bother to check it..

i am not comparing him with other judges nor comparing karishma with other contestants , i am just giving my opinion ...' its a democratic country - RIGHT ? ' ... and i have given my opinion based on what show us in that episode... , as we also dont know the exactly what had happen their , may be chefs has taken some action but that part has been edited by the unit or something like that

^ ofcourse its democratic country so is the forum and you have all right to state your opinion but blaming one judge is not fair... and its not just you dear I saw other posts here too, who have against Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Absolutely at the end of the day it was channel's and Production House's decision as who to eliminate or who to stay... everyone is behaving as per their instructions, after all they all work for channel, its channel and PH who pay them.

Master chef India started with good aim. Now to gain trp they are adding emotional factor and fun and not showing proper cooking. They are spoiling it slowly.
Thank god it is not like kitchen super star of vijay tv where known celebrity cook and create unnecessary drama.
Even masterchef us is similar to India in gaining trp like having a bad guy and an emotional factor.
Only masterchef Australia is warm and enjoyable.
Hope our Indian mc too changes for good like first season.
