1: The Mihir-Mihika-Ashok-Shagun track - The most bizarre and poorly handled track that actually left all equations of YHM messed up. Ashok was BEST as Raman's rival only till he possessed Shagun and Adi. That made all the rage and filth between Raman and Ashok worth it. The IshRa v/s ShaShok tracks were always a hit with Adi and Ruhi acting as the soft spots in between coz that is what the original custody's story is all about - Two kids torn between two set of parents!
But since Mihika married Ashok, not just the once so perfect jodi of MiMi seems tasteless but even the presence of a strong rival for Raman is missed. It was NEVER "Ashok Khanna - the business tycoon" who was Raman's arch rival but "Ashok Khanna - the self-proclaimed father of Adi" who was Raman's enemy and with Shagun/Adi seperating from Ashok that villainous touch of Ashok's character is totally lost.
2. The Sarika-Romi track - I have never understood what will cvs achieve from this track. I dont feel anything for either of these. Romi is a je*k when it comes to women and Sarika comes across as plain selfish at times and totally naive at other. There is no emotion between these two. This track just portrays the sickening attitude of men towards women in India and the reality of the mothers of many Indian men that is actually responsible for all the trash filled in their minds.
3. Raman's financial issues - This track has been put to back burner for RiMi wedding/Sarika-Romi/Shagun's useless custody trick. I am totally clueless what purpose will this track achieve specially if Subbu is to enter the scene soon. And if Shagun knows about Raman's financial crisis why the hell is she even intrested in him any more. Why doesnt she find another useless billionare for herself and get lost from IshRa's life. š„±
4. Adi's dilemma and his ever-changing equation with IshRa - This is one perpetual track of YHM š So at times Adi is extremely nasty to Ishu and at times he is the reformed ideal son of Raman. So this particular track has no definite ends. It gets twisted as per the need. If and when needed Adi becomes Shagun's brat and when needed he becomes Raman sensible son. šš”
Either send him back to hostel or bring him close to Ishu so that we can see some bonding between him and IshRaRu.
5. Ishita's no longer a barren - So no one in family knows this. But I am sure this will be brought to forefront v soon specially knowing Mrs Bhalla's rants for an heir for the family.
6. IshRa's long forgotten confession/HM/SR - For this least said the best š¤š¤¢ Even a fool can understand that all this senseless friction between IshRA or tracks that lead to them fighting are just to linger on the confession/consummation. And HM is history - we should not even think about it.
And there are more to list as well like Mihika's fake pregnancy, Subbu's return, family/Mihir not knowing Mihika's reason to marry Ashok, Ishita not knowing about Raman's boss, Rinky-Romi love track etc etc. š²
So amidst all this don't you guys feel lost?š As if we are being served a dish that has everything but taste of nothing. So what is IshRa's romance now-a-days? A random song or dance performance ? Where have their cute nok-jhoks gone?? Where have their sweet loving gestures gone - the sorry cards, the pasta eating, buying a dress or a necklace for her, the teasings, the one-liners...all have vanished into thin air. Where are the heart-wrenching emotional scenes of YHM - the RuMan bonding...the IshRaRu outings...the mature talks of Ishu-Bala...the funny family scenes of iyers and bhallas. YHM suddenly feels so negative regressive and boring. There is just bitterness and disgust---almost in every track. Forced marriages,twisted relationships, MCP dialogues, regressive povs, senseless fights and logicless tracks - Doesn't all this sounds much more tasteless and bland than even the 'khichdi' served in hospitals š„±
