Yes. That is true, in the end like the mother even the son can't completely stay oblivious to the mother's feelings. However I am shocked how Salim keeps claiming how Jalal does not care for Jodha, because I feel if he really knew his parents he would know that this was the kind of mutual decision they would make, not caring about themselves. 😊

Salim is just a teenager who was emotionally separated from his parents at a young age by Ruq. Even normal teenagers don't understand their parents, their parents' responsibilities and what the parents would do in any given situation. He is still showing some basic concern, so I am hopeful, he will eventually understand and come close to his parents. 😊 As a mother, I can't condemn him. To tell you the truth, my heart goes out to him - that he was deprived of the love of his parents by a step-mother.
