Back in the Brahmnishth tent, Shivanand and Rudra talk. Shiva is tense after the conversation with Dadi at the Saraswatikund. Rudra says after 24 years we are at last all together - Dadi, you and I. If we are 'rakshak' then can we not protect our family first by doing as Dadi wishes? Shivanand replies "Families have rakshak (protectors), but rakshak dont have families..." He tries to explain to Rudra that he needs to look at the problem from a wider perspective to be able to understand it... As 'rakshak', their responsibility is much bigger than protecting their own family... He asks Rudra to stop thinking only of Family, and also says that he cannot perform the 'rakshak' duty without Rudra's help...
Dadi arrives on the scene and taunts Shiva... She tells Rudra that they will both go the following morning to fetch Maya, and dismisses all his excuses. After sending Rudra on errand, Dadi tackles Shiva - some problems cannot be tackled from a distance - you have to get close and experience them before you can solve them! As a parting shot she tells Shiva that she is actually doing things for Rudra (fetching estranged girlfriend) that were really Shiva's duty as father.
In the Kalpataru Seva Ashram, Rudra's friend Punnu Tiwari has arrived from Benaras. He has come to search for Rudra. Despite Punnu's best efforts, Maya pretends to not recognise him. Finally Punnu says he will stay put until Maya admits she knows him, and tells him about Rudra's whereabouts... Meanwhile Balivesh's spy in the Ashram reports back about Maya's location...Balivesh says he will go to the Ashram later, and until then Maya should not know she has been found.
In the Professor's tent, Charles is with Rao and Tiwari... They are all waiting for Shiva who has called for an urgent meeting... Prof. Rao explains to Tiwari about the Saraswatikund in Shiva's house that used to have traces of water from the underground Saraswati river... Charles leaves - he's been looking at Katherine's photo on his mobile all the time and thinks his 'love story' is in danger
Shiva enters the Brahmanishth tent at night, searches through Katherine's bag/camera - and Katherine enters at the same time - Shiva hides. He then manages to knock her out by applying pressure on a "pulse" point. He bundles up Katherine in a sack and carries her to his underground Library. He ties Katherine to a chair and then calls up the Professor to say he cannot meet them right away...
Katherine recovers and manages to free herself from the chair with some Bruce Lee type moves! An entertaining fight sequence ensues between the two of them. Kat knocks out Shiva and starts to explore Shiva's Library. Before she can get very far, Shiva wakes up and again knocks her out. He lifts the unconscious Katherine and... End of Episode.
