Shagun tried to gain Mihir's sympathy but in vain...Raman dragged her and threw her out of sight...Adi, who had just entered the hall witnessed this ugl scene with disturbed eyes... "Dekha Adi beta...yahan pe hamare koi izzat nahin...dhakke maarke nikaal diya mujhe...kisiko hamari koi parwah nahin" Adi looked so sad and miserable I felt like hugging him...for no fault of his, he'd have to go through this shit AGAIN...
"Par Mamma...hum kahan jayenge?" Adi kept looking at Raman, confused, perplexed, and scared too..Raman had tears in his eyes as well... "Kahin bhi jayenge...marr jayenge...lekin abhi yahan se chalo" Shagun did her best to keep her game up and even looked back to see Raman's reaction, as if throwing him a challenge...and daring him to take the dreaded step right before Adi's eyes
"Toh main jaaun?" Adi asked...to no one in particular, but it was SO CLEAR it was directed AT Raman...he couldn't believe he was on the verge of losing his father's love and his family's affection in one shot...Toshi ji cried and tried to prevent the inevitable from happening
And then, FINALLY...in the years and years of wrestling against his demons and fighting his biggest weakness, Raman turned his back on Adi...Adi's eyes had welled up with tears and it looked like his world had shattered...he couldn't believe what he just saw...and though Raman had turned his back on his son, he was crying too...PAINFUL AND HEART-RENDING TO watch...Gautam Ahuja (Adi) played this bit to perfection...when directed properly, this kid can do wonders...my heart went out to this father-son duo torn apart from nothing other than their circumstances, most of which revolved around a bitch who was one's manipulative mother and the other's greedy ex'wife...
Adi kept looking back at Raman, waiting for him to stop him, even as Shagun dragged him out of the venue...that was HEARTBREAKING...I cried...Raman's thoughts went in flashback mode - of Raman-Adi moments in the last two months...their play sessions, their dressing up for the functions, et al...Adi clearly looked he didn't want to leave..Raman looked DEVASTATED...The BG music was poignant and soulful too... Pita se hai naam tera ...LOVELY SONG, this one is...sent goosebumps right across my spine...
The marriage ceremony FINALLY commenced..RiMi exchanged garlands...Mihir looked really nice and HANDSOME, in fact MORE good-looking than our very own bearded long-haired Raman Bhalla...everybody else around looked happy...Ishita performed her bit of the rituals...
Miir tied the mangalsutra around her neck...phir sindoor lagaya maang mein...Mihika, standing in one corner, looked shattered and yet, was smiling slightly, prolly thinking, that "Chalo, Mihir ne finally MOVE ON kar liya...he is happy" Mihir touched Toshi's feet and hugged Raman...all the niceties were exchanged...ROO was crying...she looked soo cute!! She was wearing a green and white dress and had braided her hair...Rinki ki bidai hui...
"Bhaiyya Bhabhi ka farz toh nibha liya...ab behen ka farz bhi toh nibhana hai...Rinki ko receive bhi toh karna hai naa" she reminded Raman
IshRa went to Mihir's house..to receive Rinki..Raman tried to console Rinki, who still seemed to be shedding tears...he asked her to forget the drama that happened hours ago and be thankful for a good life..told her she'd be very happy...
"Mujhe maaf karna yaar...achanak tujhpe itni badi zimmedari daal di" Raman sounded apologetic
"Main toh Rinki ki zimmedari utha lunga, par kya who meri zimmedari utha sakegi?" Mihir, I ADMIRE his courage and gall to get over Mihika in such a short span of time (Alright, RiMi and Mihika drama might be in stock in the near future, but I don't think he wud go back to Mihika) ...very sorted and level-headed, he is..and when he told Shagun it was a Clean, Fresh start' he totally meant it...he LOOKED fresh and happy...and ready to take on marital responsibilities
"Apni dosti ko kabhi affect mat hone dena" Ishita gave Rinki some last-minute tips...Rinki said nothing and went away to the room...Mihir assured Ishita he would look into later and told them Rinki needed some time to sort it all out...he looked so HANDSOME! Aaj meri nazar MIHIR se hat hi nahin rahi thi!!
"Dost, bhai, ab behnoi" Raman hugged Mihir right and they sealed this new relationship..
"Maine hamesha mere instinct ko trust kiya hai... I hope iss baar maine sahi decision liya hai" When ISHITA thought aloud in her head, ki, "Ek baar toh maine galti kar di hai" I felt a bit uncomfortable...why was she blaming HERSELF for it?? Duh, its Ishita...uska kuch nai ho sakta!
Toshi is bawling her eyes out over the drama that happened...and over Romi's situation...and for ONCE, Romi was right when he had decided not to share this tragic news with anybody in the family...coz Toshi hadn't taken it well AT ALL...
"Log kaise kaise sawaal karenge...aapko acchi tarah pata hai"
"Log toh yahi kahenge...munde mein yeh kharaabi hai, munde mein who kharaabi hai" WHY ARE YOU SO REGRESSIVE TOSHI??? WHY DO YOU TALK LIKE YOU'RE LIVING IN PRE-PARTITION INDIA? W*F??!! I was getting so pissed with her ranting and crying and make-up draining sessions...two hours ago, she was crying, "Meri beti se ab KAUN SHAADI KAREGA?" and now she was ranting, "Mere munde ke bare mein log kaisi kaisi baatein karenge?" Tell me, WHY SHOULD ROMI HVE TOLD HER ANYTHING KNOWING SHE'LL BEHAVE LIKE A FREAK???
I'm glad Raman stood tall and strong beside Romi...he kissed his forehead and said he will support Romi and find out a solution to this problem, "Zindagi mein pehli baar mujhe naaz hai ispe"
As they are all sharing their such-dukh, they hear loud voices from afar...believing it to be Shagun's voice, they rush to the corridor where Shagun and Amma are having their spat..
"Tujhe aur teri dono kameeni betiyon ko toh dekh lungi"
"Ek ne mere pati ke saath sone ki koshish ki...doosri mere ex-husband ke gale padi hai..."
Amma kicked her trash out and asked her to get lost...called her CHEAP...They said so many things to each other...PURE, DESI CATFIGHT IT WAS! Shagun looked so UNCOUTH AND DISGUSTING, making those nasty faces and screeching at the top of her lungs...Anyway, she ran down to the parking lot, cursing under her breath...
It looked so funny...She poked the security guard with her bag, when he tried to inquire her about what happened...and screeched her lungs out... "Yeh log izzat ki baat karte hain...MUJHE NIKALENGE YAHAN SE?? Ghar mein khud ki do do betiyan padi hui thi...ek ki shaadi toot gayi...aur doosre ki toot the toot the bach gayi...MERE BHAI NE BACHAYA USE" Her screams got so loud and looked so PATHETIC, even for the sake of drama and by the show's usual MELODRAMATIC standards, that I was cringing throughout. The Bhallas rushed out to the parking area to see what the commotion was all about...they saw Shagun engaged in a near-brawl with the security guard and hurling abuses at him and the Bhallas and anybody else who would care to listen...
Ishita was the first to speak, "Yeh sab kya ho raha hai yahan pe?"
"In dono behnon ne milke mera sab kuch chheen liya...Ek saali baanjh..aur doosri, mere hone wale pati ke saath so rahi thi..."
"Yeh baanjh mujhe samjhane aa gayi?" Shagun abused Ishita..
"Yeh baanjh mere ex-husband ke gale pad gayi...aur doosri mere fianc ke bistar pe padi thi" "Mujhse sab kuch chheen liya tumne..yeh sab jo tumhare paas hai naa, yeh MERA THA"
"THA NAA...AB yeh sab mera hai, yeh mera ghar hai, mera PATI hai" Ishita yelled back, nostrils flaring, eyes red with anger
"Yeh mere pati pati kya laga rakha hai?? Kabhi ek doosre ko I love you bhi kaha hai tum dono ne? Ek doosre ko kabhi chhuan bhi hai...he's not even TOUCHED you"she made that sick nauseating face I badly wanted to slap...and so, was relieved when Ishu did the honours... ISHITA SLAPPED THE BITCH HARD... "Mere ar mere pati ke beech mein jo hota hai...usmein bolne ka tumhen koi hak nai hai" LOVELY! MUCH NEEDED...LONG-DUE...And I was laughing looking at the Bhallas' faces when Shagun insinuated that IshRa hadn't even touched each other...its not like THEY KNEW THE TRUTH...I found that funny...
Shagun pushed her...and tried to slap her...Raman held her wrist and jerked it away
"BAS...BAHUT BOL LIYA TUMNE..AUR BAHUT SUN LIYA MAINE...Ab tumne meri biwi ko ek bhi lafz bola naa...toh main apni saari hadein paar kar jaaunga...and I promise you, YOU WILL REGRET THIS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE." Finally, Raman Bhalla OPENED HIS MOUTH AND SPOKE...I was under the impression he would stand mute just like he did the other two episodes...But somehow, I feel he couldve said something more caustic and biting...than just this...and somehow, he looked a tad bit tired to me...Maybe it was me but KP isnt in his best form🤔
"Mujhe toh yahan se nikaal diya...Apne bete ka kya karoge? Taras jaoge Adi se milne ke liye...tum sabko dekh lungi...Aana abhi Adi se milne...tumhen dikhaaungi main" Raman was in tears by the end of it...the Bhallas retired to their flat...after Toshi was done screaming at a few interested apartment-dwellers, mutely watching the scene...
Mihir approached Rinki..who had changed and was sitting sullenly on the bed...He told her he'll make space for her stuff in his cupboard tomorrow...and handed her a cup of coffee
"Pee lo...POORI RAAT JAAGNA HAI" My naughty brain started working overtime, prompting me to think the unmentioables...but yeh lo! Kya hua?? He got her books and kept them on the table... and told her she'll have to study for her exams...she started crying Mihir looked SO ADORABLE trying to console her... "Please please Rinki RO MAT...Raman bhai ko pata chalega naa toh bahut marenge mujhe.." Kaun kahega yeh dono SIRF DOST HAIN?? Mihir makes for a very loving, caring, protective husband..😊
"Mujhe akele padhne ki aadat nahin hai naa" Rinki kinni cute hai yaar!
"Toh main hun na tumhare saath..haan agar main so gaya naa...toh yeh ruler hai naa, isse maarna mujhe" They were both now seated on the bed, casual and comfortable...He took an accounts book and started browsing through it...She sneaked a sideways glance at Mihir...I was right..Rinki ALWAYS had a soft spot for Mihir and I hope he too leans towards her...I don't want Rinki's love to remain unrequited...
Raman has got Pathak on board for Adi's custody...he has prepared a draft that Pahtak has to go through
Wahan Toshi ji tabiyat kharab ho gayi hai and she was having an anxiety attack or so...Ishita looked so pretty in the black chikan kurta with pink embroidery...Toshi seemed almost on the verge of a stroke...kept mumbling something about Romi and then about Adi...clearly, thoughts of Ek Ghar ka Chirag toh gaya...doosre ka Ghar ka Chirag HO HI NAHI SAKTA' is running in her head...ufff what's all this drama now? Raman, Simmi they all tried to put her to sleep...I hope ab Toshi ji ke khaatir Shagun ko wapas bulaya naa jaye! I cant stand her anymore..
PRECAP - The next morning...Ishita saw Sarika's photo in the newspaper...Reward of Rs. 1 lakh...and the one looking for her is none other than Raman Bhalla
On the other hand, Legal notice has been sent to Shagun for Adi's custody...
Raman is planning to get Sarika married to Romi...because, unintentionally hi sahi, Romi HAS fathered a child with Sarika and that child can now run his candidature for Ghar Ka Chirag in Bhalla House..and knowing what a hypocrite and selfish person Toshi is, she will hug Sarika and asphyxiate her in her tight embrace, thanking her profusely for letting the Bhallas feast on HER Ghar ka Chirag😡
P.S. Just as much as I couldnt stand Shagun, I cannot stand Toshi ji's mistimed rantings about Ghar Ka Chirag...and I know I will hate it more when she gladly accepts Sarika in the house...all for GKC...There's a limit to how much hypocrisy the show can portray...
P.S. Adi ki school ki fees ka kya?? And how come Shagun has a car and all to carry her around?? Coz the last I remember, she had NOTHING on her and was picked up from the kacchra ...
