'Dum Lagaa Ke Haisha' stars party at a popular nightspot

Yash Raj Film's "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" starring Ayushmann Khurrana and new comer Bhumi Pednekar has been receiving rave reviews from critics and appreciation from viewers.

Directed by Sharat Kataria, the film revolves around a couple who try to find love after an arranged marriage.

However, apart from its unique story, what has caught viewers' attention is YRF's new face Pednekar's splendid performance and her XXL size.

The debutante, who plays the character of Sandhya in the film, has been garnering praises for carrying off the role so well.

A former assistant casting director of Yash Raj Films, Pednekar was initially a little overweight, but had apparently put extra 10-15 kilos to get into the skin of the character.

And, in order to keep the curiosity among viewers, the makers of the film refrained the actress from talking to the media or making any appearance during the film's promotion.

But, when the plump actress arrived for the film's special screening, she surprised all with her new look. Pednekar has lost loads of weight post the film's shoot and looked half the size of Sandhya (Pednekar's onscreen character).

This is the first time a film has a plus-sized leading actress. The sad part is that it was for just one film. Pednekar is said to have signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films, and with her new look, it appears her next films will be quite different from her character in "Dum Laga Ke Haisha".
